On May 4, 2024, New Psalmist Baptist Church, a beacon of hope and service in Baltimore for over 125 years, celebrated the Baptist church installation service of Reverend Dr. Walter Scott Thomas Jr. as its fourth pastor. Reverend Dr. Thomas, previously the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Steelton, was renowned for his dynamic outreach and transformative community initiatives.
