Personally, I love RU-vid and podcasts because I feel I can consume the content in a much healthier way -- I can listen to podcasts on a walk and RU-vid I can play on my TV while I'm cleaning vs Instagram/TikTok you just get glued to your phone in unhealthy positions! So yessss to long form content, I will definitely be tuning into the podcast!

Also my boyfriend laughs everytime I watch your videos because we are the SAME person -- I have the same checkered blanket, same brand tupperwares, Alter Eco is my FAVORITE chocolate! Hehe

This video itself is a testament to the reasons you prefer long form content, because I'm finding this over 4 months after you posted it and resonating so much with your words! I started my blog in 2018 and eventually got into creating for IG (and all the new features it keeps throwing at us...) then TikTok, RU-vid, Pinterest and now even lemon8. I used to enjoy posting on my blog so much, and now it is poorly neglected 😢 I've taken a HUGE step back recently from IG and TikTok for many reasons and it's been really refreshing to focus in on RU-vid more and hope to grow this platform in 2024! I've also been wanting to get into starting a podcast, and have been meaning to start a newsletter forever but never got to figuring out how 😂 Loving your channel btw! ❤

Hey Jules! It's Julie, but my friends call me Jules too! 😊 I recently became a subscriber and I wanted to express my gratitude for sharing your thoughts on long form content. Interestingly, I've had a different perspective on this. Creating short form content for Instagram and TikTok has always felt effortless and has yielded positive results for me so far. However, this year, I challenged myself to focus on my RU-vid channel and create longer videos. I must admit, it's been quite challenging and I've been struggling with it. This video, though, has provided me with fresh insights and renewed motivation. So, thank you for that! 💞 Oh and congrats on the new podcast!
