I wanted to find it as funny as everyone, but I was missing a lot of points due to cutting in with jokes before statements were completed at times. But I do love humor.
All of This was so good my favorite part was Bishop Jacobs saying “You that’s waiting on a specific clip … We are talking about you” PERIOD!!!! This podcast is NECESSARY!!
Nothing but truth here. I loved how they agreed, disagreed, and then came to a conclusion. That's true manhood-not bashing each other but respecting each other's differences and thoughts. 💪🏾 A well-respected podcast, gentlemen. Can't wait for Mondays!
This muted mic moment!!?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I thoroughly enjoy how the authentic friendship is a beautiful thread throughout all you guys share! More life Lord to #PreacherTalk!!!
I totally love this podcast…. My father is a pastor and to see these conversations in real time like my father and his friends use to do is a blessing. I love to see the Men of God be real but still holy!!
This is my absolute favorite podcast! Men who love the Lord and share the same "COGICyyy" sense of humor as my family and I is next level. Blessings to you all!
This was my favorite preachers talk. I enjoyed all of the preachers immensely, but Bishop Jacobs had a great way of spinning from the biblical aspect, and Pastor Clack was amazing from an intellectual, yet spiritual aspect. This was great! Please keep it going.
Pastor’s are human too. I believe that Pastor’s should have a life outside of Ministry. That doesn’t make you less of a Pastor or taking away from what God has called you to do.
Y'ALL ARE RIDICULOUSLY HILARIOUS AND POWERFULLY INFORMATIVE DURING EVERY EPISODE BUT ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. IT SEEMS TO GET BETTER AND BETTER, JUST GIVING YOU PREACHERS YOUR HONOR AND APPRECIATION THAT IS DUE. I ATTENTIVELY LISTEN I HEAR YA AND I LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH. CRAZY FUNNY, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS NEEDED. SUCH AMAZING DISCUSSIONS. MINISTRY BROTHERHOOD FRIENDSHIP FELLOWSHIP WISDOM REVELATION UNDERSTANDING AND TRANSPARENCY ALL RIGHT HERE. Burnout is a real thing, for sure. It's defined in Merriam Webster dictionary as: "exhaustion of physical or emotional strength or motivation usually as a result of prolonged stress or frustration." To me, it's not a super-spiritual thing. It's simply a human response to life's moments. And, that looks different for everyone. People burning out isn't due to a lack of prayer- it's a human emotion. Real life.
But if you’re graced for a thing and the grace doesn’t burn out; how can u, except u disconnect from that grace? The grace empowers u to do the WILL of God. Question is; is what we’re doing God’s will?
I wish they would’ve swept around that a bit more, especially when they got to talking about Manasseh. I think that some people aren’t being “burned out” but they are being “burned through”- by themselves and by others. They are the ones who just need to stop taking for granted the time they have to rest by filling it with other endeavors separate from their calling. But those folks who are truly feeling burnout in the pursuit of Godly purpose often, in my opinion, need support not just rest.
