If Ukraine was allowed to participate last year and two years ago, then Israel is allowed to participate this year. It is wild to me that everyone seems to forget that Israel was invaded, not the other way around. Now about this song. I think it’s great. And Eden has an amazing amazing voice. I fully trust her to be able to pull off this song including the falsetto live.

Sorry dear, but that's not accurate (the political part lol the musical part is fair enough). When Ukraine was invaded, people put them inmediatly as n1 in betting odds, no matter what song they sent. Now, Israel has been invaded (or attacked), but is just 8th. Why? Because Ukraine didn't counter-attacked Russia at Russia's soil. And that's why some people are not in the Israel side. I have no problems with countries participating in ESC while they are in war, the only thing I want is a fair jury/televote, voting only the song, not the overall situation.

You call it political theme, but this is our reality.. you’ve got to understand, Israel is small, there is no one who is not affected directly or indirectly.. we are unable to create a happy song. The whole country’s grieving. This song talks about us, it doesn’t refer to the Palestinians and it doesn’t deny their pain. What is so political about it?
I didn't find clear political meaning in this composition. I called It political because EBU described the entry like that. They rejected the lyrics several times due to political meaning. Anyway, every country in war that don't withdraw from the competition know that will gain some votes from sympathy. But nothing against the Melody, actual lyrics or Eden at all.
