I think Tel not being in your face every week on TV/RU-vid etc adds to the anticipation of a film with him. The man is a legend amongst us anglers and whether its angling his quarry from an estate lake or him talking about rods and nets, he will always get the time and respect from us! Nice one ESP!

A great video from Terry! I did not have enough money at the time for these rods, so I purchased the ESP Reflex 12ft 2.75 instead and to this day I still use them exclusively. Hundreds of specimens have fallen to these rods. The action and aesthetics are timeless.

I’m a young angler for Oxford and love the esp brand and the why terry is about carp fishing - just hoping my dad hands me down his terry herb. Classics one day 😊

Won a set of tels rods a couple years back from anglers mail comp,I no longer carp fish,I use them for deadbating for pike in the winter now,what a fantastic blank,chuck big deads no probs 👌

Just a normal ESP video which has been brilliantly done again.

I still use the Mk2 i own for my weekly carping. Love them. 12 Ft 2,75 TC paired with the Shimano Biomasters 8000- although im using the 7000 spools.

Picked up rods and net today, very nice, especially the net and may have to buy another.

Net looks the nads think 🤔 I’ll be putting one them on my list for Santa

Really interesting and well presented. Shame you don't do a two piece version of that net, I'd buy two for sure. The only net I've found stiff enough to date has been a custom made one by Kev Baines.

Ffs i know find myself hoping my net breaks so i can justify buying one of these. They look bloody fantastic 🤣👍

If you cannot afford these, try to find the original 3.25lb chub vantage that have a metal stop on them between the butt and the reel seat to stop the rod sliding forward and from the back backrest, not the newer versions that do not have this as although they look similar, they are a completely different rod. Anyway the older original versions with that feature look amazing and are simply awesome rods for medium and long range carping in 3lb or 3.25lb and have landed me carp to over 70lb from all over the world and continue to do so here in Germany today. Finding them for sale is a hassle but that is because those with them, rarely ever want to sell them.

ESP, with the legends name on the rod, you should sell a few. I’m in the market for a new net, will be checking out that net. Always had budget nets and keep breaking spreader blocks at the thread.

It's really weird I mean like any carper who has fished as long as I have (40 years), I've been a sucker for expensive gear and baits and so on and have a collection to die for now, but I have also had a good head on my shoulders and not fallen for many cons or marketing stuff, but when it comes to this guy, anything with his name on is fine by me. It's just him isn't it, he's an amazing storyteller, amazing fishing film maker, amazing carp angler. If it has his name, ill buy it without to much research. Cannot say that about much else whether fox or what ever.

Had 3 mk1s 2lb 9 oz sold them but wish I didn’t , got my mk3 12’9 3.25lbs they are not going anywhere , still liking the look of the 12ft 3lb er 😳

Absolute mega rods. I bought a second hand pair of Mk2's 2 an 3/4lb 2007 models a few years back. I was thinking of re-ringing them to a 50ml but ring? Not sure weather to just leave them or not??

I would like tel to do a video with lots of stuff like how he approaches certain situations in his fishing and more in depth about what makes him tick etc...this is the most boring sales pitch I've ever seen from esp,surely u can do better than this you've probably got the best angler in the country on your team and u produce this ..

Mr H is the modern Chris Yates , and I’m sure if he didn’t need to promote/ advertise ESP to supplement an income, he would be using cane or a rods he used when he started fishing .
