Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze and the rest of the Chicago Bears Rookies took the field for the first time wearing Blue & Orange! In this video we recap the day.
I personally really have been a loyal lifetime lifelong CHICAGO BEARS SUPPORTER / FAN SINCE 1972 since I was only six years old. NAVY BLUE AND ORANGE ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
Count me in this group. His maturity (at least on face value) has surprised me. I’m ok if he makes me look stupid for my early takes on him. But I still want to see it in a regular season game before I get hyped.
Me too man. I was actually pissed when we traded Fields and we won't know yet of course but so far it's trending to be the right move and Calebs attitude is the most surprising thing so far
CW18 looked like a 5 year vet in that presser. I think Poles is making an effort to break that cycle of mediocre at best to #1 pick bad at the worst. 🐻⬇️
tbh i know i might sound like a fake fan or whatever but i’ve been following caleb since college and the hate for him is crazy i want to see him go off man i truly believe he will turn this team around im definitely gonna become a bears fan
Tyson Bagent has been out there and shown he can play. Teams will blitz the hell out of rookie Williams. Good QB's have good O lines. Lifetime fan since '62'.Missed 66/67 because of RVN. Just beat the Packers !!
I didn't want jf to go i was mad but this kid is special i been a bear fan since 1982 and this is a nice feeling thats going on now we need a defence player do a bear attack after a sack maybe get down like a dog on all 4s and swipe like a bear attacking
Caleb throws a very pretty tight spiral. Justins was wobbly alot. Really comes down on will Caleb beat GB. Justin beat Detroit but Bears have never had 3 WR1s😮. Our TE3 gonna be a blocker for left side. Caleb is set up perfectly unless the center is bad but we will know that in preseason. Caleb already has 10 million before draft. He has no worries in the world. If hes focused on football alone we will be ok. Even running back room looks awesome for 5 to 7 straight years in a row. We are triple stacked next year draft. Just protect Caleb..no Burrow no Wentz like injuries please.
@@NextWaveBall very thankful to not have to worry about Justin Fields anymore... That guy was hell to try and deal with... Like Dan Campbell said - won't miss that guy in the division. Absolutely grateful to the Bears for not supporting him in favor of trading him off. Tampa Bay can deal with him now lol 🤣
One of fields most annoying things was that he could not throw a short to medium pass for the life of him if Caleb is able to do that with a good long pass game it will be easy to see that taking him was the right decision. We'll see I feel Caleb will be better but don't wanna jinx it lol.
Of course CW is the starter. It’s not like Bagent has a ton of experience either, and CW is way more talented. While it’s true Poles/Flus could’ve brought in a veteran like the last regime brought in Glennon and Dalton after drafting Trubisky and Fields, I agree that they shouldn’t. CW is way more talented than anybody they could’ve brought in, he’s polished with a ton of starts against elite collegiate programs, and this team is ready to compete in his first year. There’s no reason for him to sit. You only sit your rookie QB if you have a very good veteran, or the rookie is raw, or the team is trash and you don’t want your rookie QB hurt. That’s clearly not the case here.
These are great and all, but I’m not convinced till I see him go against defenders as a live player. 80%+ of his escape acts wouldn’t fly in the nfl. That being said I hope he is great though. I just need convincing. Jamarcus Russell was labeled as a generational talent too.
Not old school but,the great qbs,are great, because tthey sat and learned, hes not the best qb rn,and his release 3.3 seconds holds on too ball longer then fields.. he doesnt know how read nfl defenses
