Omg I'm so glad to see you've come back. I love your videos. Your Paintings inspired me to start drawing my favorite foods and that became a good therapy for me. I know that by now this is an older video, but I jst really, really missed you. In the beack of my mind I always wondered "hey, I'm not seeing Minnie anymore, what's going on there" till I finally had enough and looked for you again myself - algorhythms be danmed. I love the setup you did, I love how you explain your thought processes, I love the way you edit your videos - there's a touch of magic to it - and most of all I love and missed you honesty and transparency. I really like how you decorated your studio. I like how you show that an art studio is not only functional but can be an attractive space as well. I would not have thought to go to so much trouble to create the flat files but, wow, they turned out amazing! I have to admit I was a bit disappointed you took out the Ikea shelving, as I have some similar ones and was looking forward to seeing what you did with yours. I got mine from a thrift store and included both the narrow and the wider shelves as well as a drawer unit, each drawer of which I painted in a different color. The shelves I painted with white chalk paint. Anyway, Thanks for a great video!

I've barely watched any creative vlogs over the last year because life just hasn't got me in that mood. Oh wow!!! This morning I was thinking, "Where is Baby Sis Mini? What's she up to? Is she going to do anymore videos?" And, here you are! Welcome back! Where you been?! LOL!!! RE: Flat files - I started moving into my new studio back in May and desperately had to get another IKEA Alex. Not new though, they're too expensive now for the size, especially if you're refinishing them. I found mine on Facebook Market for $30. Then I made it my mission to get a professional 5-drawer metal map/architectural flat file for my extra large papers and works. I found one on Facebook Market for $275, instead of $500-$800 new. All that to say, artists look for studio furniture/storage online (and Thrift stores) before buying new at much higher costs. I was able to get an almost perfect Alex, 2 Brimnes, 5 Billy shelves (two tall ones with glass/wood doors) and an Ingatorp table on FB Marketplace all for under $225 instead of twice that had I gotten them new. Also IKEA needs to make the Alex wider and longer for larger papers/items. Just sayin... You should be able to get extra parts (free) from IKEA at the store instead of ordering online or by phone. Just take your receipt with you... Glad you're back!

So delighted to see you pop on my feed again! And what a coincidence too, I'm currently rennovating my future bedroom/work studio as well. I've been using Roomplanner to figure out the layout and test wall colors, and I'll be trying out Bauwerk's limewash paint for the walls.
