I made a blanket project years ago like that - I had a big apartmebt abd could sew and do other crafts. Living in Connecticut has been a terrible experience. But I try to stay busy with crafts I can do in such a small apartment. The worst thing we can do is nothing. Thanks for sgaring your videos They are always inspiring and fun to watch.

I have been wanting to create a closet out of a spare room! This was just what i needed to get me motivated! I love it and I love the way you attached the two pieces of fleece to create the double sided blanket. I have made a few of them and have tied nots all the way around them! I like your method so much more! Great video! ❤️

And I think all your fur babies are adorable and it’s so cute how Demetri was kissing you back!🥰 Oh! And the tip of using a Ziplock bag to catch all the dust from drilling into walls was brilliant!! Plus that closet makeover is to die for! I love how you put the vintage Singer sewing machine table in there like a table of sorts! What a beautiful transformation in this closet!! I would have never thought to decorate a closet at all much less putting an antique sewing machine in a closet, but you have that special eye for light, beautiful things and how to place them. Luv your blanket idea. Your closet came out fabulous! I set mine up like that too, just 2 rods. I love flat matt paint. I love how stores always try to talk me into semi gloss. I started a home painting and paper business years ago, unfortunately it stayed with the first husband, lol

So much great information, thank you! I have a 120 year old home that we have been working on for 6 years. I never thought to use wall paper, yours is stunning!
It’s better not to cut off your wallpaper even with the corners of the wall. Instead leave a small 2” overlap on the corner. That allows for shrinkage and unevenness. The only corners that should be cut flush with the corners are the ones that overlap the 2” extensions. I owned a 1904 mansion and have wallpapered many rooms. Another tip: when you need to add a length of paper to the wall overlap it too a bit. Make the lower piece overlap the one above it with the pattern matched perfectly. That way your eye will never see that cut seam.

warning..if you are using the "privacy" film be aware that when u turn the lights on there is no "privacy" anymore. I suggest to check it turn the light and ask someone to go out and check if they can see u naked in front of the window with the film...I knew someone that had that issue and the guy next door was very happy to watch the next door window LOLOLOL
Dear reclaimed, I am trying to paint porcelin tiles for my bathroom to match what is already there. I have to replace old vanity and the new vanity's footprint is different. I have sprayed tiles with clear coat and then painted with wall paint but it just peels off. Will chalk paint work and can I get the paint color matched. Please help!
Hi! For porcelain tiles that is a tricky one. Rustoleum makes a tub and tile paint that I believe comes in white only. There is also a rustoleum counter top paint that has many colors and I have used it on tiles and it works. Maybe that will help! 🙏🎨❤️
I bought a house last year. The WHOLE house was chocolate brown, including closets. It took 3 coats to brighten the closets with ceiling white paint, but now I can see what is in the closets.
@@TheReclaimedHeirloom Thank you. I am doing well, but helping a friend with stressful elder care. It is so hard for the elderly to accept increasing limitations and not demand others do things her way as she micromanages from her recliner. Ouch! I am determined to be gracious as I age.

The end result is gorgeous, but I personally hate the Gila sticky film. I much prefer the cling film. I've done every lower window of every bedroom and bath for complete privacy in my houses. Easy to apply (one person application) and very forgiving...no accidental wrinkles. Lots of styles/designs to choose from online through Amazon. (and much more reasonably priced in larger quantities than Gila)
