I like the call on mulliganing the 2 land opening hand in the first game. I checked the hypergeometric calculator the other day, and even with 27 lands, if you keep a 2 land opener on the play there's greater than a 50% chance you miss a land drop by turn 4.

Why is Siphon Insight played? What makes it better than Divination (Quick Study)?

You can hold it up on 2 along with a make disappear and the selection makes it a better lategame topdeck usually

Also good to note it's not strictly better - Quick Study is also in the deck.

I do suppose Siphon Insight was a sort of a meta call / split with Quick Study. It is decent against very slow decks like control, where you just steal their counterspells and create a much bigger card pool.

I have different Phyrexian Arena arts, not a full set of either, because I crafted the old ones first and then opened the new ones. Why they aren't just art styles is beyond me. Probably just WOTC trying to squeeze more wildcards out of people with OCD lol

I don't think the green black mid-range matchup is very good and I'm not just basing it on this I'm saying that in my experience I've played a lot with esper control and it just doesn't feel good vs all their stuff.
