📹 In this video we learn how to spawn actors and attach them to a socket on a mesh and then adjust their relative transform (rotation and location) so they fit nicely in the characters hand or on the characters head. We also dive into a little bit of inheritance which will be covered in depth in a later video.

What I learned from this video in the first couple of minutes, is that I don't need the rest of the video if I just set everything to be always relevant for everyone and use multicasts. Thanks bro. Releasing on steam soon.

PS Thanks for showing off breakpoints. This is really the first tutorial I've seen with someone demonstrating that feature. Until now I didn't even think of it a thing. I'm a seasoned computer programmer, so inheritance and stuff is simple to me, but literally nobody has presented it before (at least to these eyes).

I'm getting the vibe that you enjoyed the video lol.. trust me man, there's nothing more that I wanna do than just pump these out. Every iteration I'm trying to figure out better / faster ways to go from scripting > audio > video > editing > publishing without losing quality - adding "new things to try and learn" in the mix that way my editing skills get better too. I think positive comments, engagement, likes, etc. is all I need. First borns would slow things down unfortunately lol

You know how many of us struggle with a sense of purpose, of trying to figure out how we can leave this world slightly better than when we entered? Yeah, you should have no such qualms. oh, the typical "net load on client" problem. where the object exists on both server and client.. BUT it's not the same object. It refers to the "same" object. so multicast works.. But it's not the same as spawned on the server and replicated down on clients.

Hahahaha I couldn't have said it better myself 🤣 I feel like once a newer developer understands this little wisdom nugget, it solves 99% of their replication issues lol
