So glad you enjoyed KoD. It’s a fan fav for all the reasons you list. The Golden Crane rides for Malkier is one of my fav moments in the whole series. RJ is a master at conveying emotions with his epic payoffs. The fact that we experience the scene through rando Malkieri turned Saldaean merchant is brilliant. The reader lives and breathes the giddiness, unashamed fall of tears, and awe that character experiences, and it sheds Nynaeve in a new light-one we can’t experience through her own self-critical POV or even from the perspective of one of her friends. The Queen of Malkier, one of the most powerful Aes Sedai, a woman who has captured the heart of Al’Lan Mandragoran is absolutely boss.
Absolutely agree with the question about Lews Therin and Rand being voices in each other's heads because the wheel of time turns and the third age is age gone and the age yet to come. And also as I remember there are few patterns, not only pattern of this Age. Kinda like parallel worlds. It makes the universe of the wheel of time super dope😊 And I respect you so much more for pointing it out. I've listened dozens of reviews and you're the only one who mentioned it.♥️♥️♥️

Yea same. This book really won me over for Tuon. It gave her a human face, not the face of the evil empire, and actually gives hope for the Seanchan. With Mat changing to a, how to say, moral compass (?) for her and the Empire, I could see time changing the Empire into something that more resembles what Hawking had.

I think my favorite thing about Mat is that even if he grumbles and complains about stuff internally he always ends up doing the right thing and is actually very dependable. I agree how this book feels like is has so much for energy the last one. You can truly start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I was glad to see Elayne finally get the throne. I think a good deal of the slog was Andor politics and I was glad to see it conclude. The conclusion was much better than the books long slog to get there.
Mat and Perrin were both attacked by darkfriends that had been instructed by the forsaken to kill them after Moridin showed what they look like to the forsaken at their meeting in one of the first chapters.
Crossroads was such a disappointment for me. I had low expectations going into Knife of Dreams and was blown away. Jordan managed such a return to form for his final solo entry.
