I like how at the end you see the realization creep onto Waluigi's face: They can respawn on the Angel Platforms, but he can't. He knows it's over. He's exhausted. He's hurt. He can't do it again. He knows that if they still want to fight, he's fucked.

I loved the detail at the very end, Waluigi was sad because he new it was over. The fighters had Respawn pads since their in the game except Waluigi, so he wouldn't respawned but just die. But Mario, impressed by his ability to defeat all of them with a single life said "Screw it, you're in."

Rewatching this later, I realized that with Giant Luigi was the only time Waluigi was actually worried. Every other time he seemed confident or at least had an idea on how to win, even with the bombing attempt

what do you expect... luigi is his rival. luigi has arguably an even sadder backstory because everyone hates on him even his own flesh and blood mario. luig kept a smile and helped his whole life and cared for his family even if they didnt. and seeing marios red cap sent him over the edge. waluigi had taken everything from him. so luigi gave it his all the same as waluigi had

Gun, katana, knuckles, frags etc. A more intense version of snake. Remember he is the only normal guy of the cast so it makes sense if he is like a highly trained elite

that really is the best part of him, in every game he's in they change his abilities to always be the extreme technical style character, from crazy purple spike vines to robotic claws that toss explosives, waluigi can do just about anything. Hell, if he was in smash it would almost be best to invent an entirely new moveset with the weirdest abilities possible.

I rewatch this a lot and my enate fear/hate of Mario makes me see that Waluigi is basically earning his and the roster's invite, their respect, like rap one, Mario spit on him, like "You think the cannon fodder is all we got n you wanna mock me?"
