@@levy1102.I'm so sorry he wasn't able to get any help for his illness. 😢 I've struggled with depression for many years too, and I'm still getting treatment.
RIP Kurt you got me thru the darkest years of my life and got me to pick up the guitar and made one of personal favorites the Mustang a nd someday I’ll be able to pay for a jagstang
Through his screams he mastered a great ability, the one of going through the break of his voice effortlessly, which helped him reach insane pitches. Had he cared and practiced, he could have been on pair with layne and chris in terms of high range singing.
and people call kurt a weak singer, infact, the weakest grunge singer. there's no way people actually call grunge singers weak. best thing is kurt actually never went to vocal coaching so it literally shows how much of a baritone he is.
And funfact, if you add to this list cover of The Beatles "And I Love Her" you got C#2 And pure 4 octaves. And another Funfact, when I compare voice range Of Ronnie James Dio, Paul Stanley, Courtney Love, James Hetfield, Chris Cornell, Dave Mustaine, Michael Jackson And Kurt. Kurt was only who got 4 octaves or higher. For example Michael Jackson got 3 octaves and 7 semitones.
It’s so rare someone actually makes a list and does a good job. I’d put Kurt more like 10th. Dude legit could barely sing. But too 4 are spot on. Nobody could sing like Layne or a Chris
I think a lot of people would say Kurt Cobain had the greatest voice of all time. The vocal range is irrelevant, he made the most beautiful songs enjoyed by millions. Personally I think a lot of the other grunge bands from this era seemed to try to hard, while everything Kurt ever did was straight from the heart and felt totally sincere and raw. I think I still have my nevermind CD I got a 1992, apart from the music, Kurt transcended music and change the entire pop landscape. It was more than just songs on an album. also the rasp and the way his voice cracks at times is unmatched. Sure, on paper there were better vocalists but no one sounded better, non made a bigger impact and no one since Dylan made the music feel like it came directly from inside him. So emotional and rare. I like other grunge groups like Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, screaming trees, mud honey, ect. But none of them come even close to the magic of Kurt Cobain.
@@TheWedgeWizardI wish RU-vid had awards like Reddit. I’d totally give you one. I always see people putting Kurt down, but he meant a great deal to many of us. ❤
@@TheWedgeWizard Didn't mean to put down Cobain, but he's nowhere near Layne and Chris. It's disrespectful to put him at the same level as the two. They're at completely different levels.
