In the song, Chris Volz deals with the suicide of his adoptive mother, an opera singer, when he was 12 years old, which resulted in him having to undergo long-term therapy. The band's strengths lie in the harder passages, although I wish Chris Volz's harsh vocals were more pronounced. The band broke up briefly but got back together.

Opened for these guys like 6 years ago at dingbatz. Really nice dudes. Got played by the industry in the middle of the napster explosion. Could have been bigger but the label fronted them this music video and another for over $1mill and then they downsized when rap blew up in early 00s and left them with the debt after they cut all the rock/metal smaller acts to make room
