Tiësto Efteling Aquanura show (TiëstoNura) - The first full DJ Tiësto show in cooperation with the Efteling on 16-12-2014. The show includes a new programming with special tracks and remixes from/by DJ Tiësto including several Efteling melodies. The most famous Tiësto tracks like Traffic, Lethal Industry and Adagio For Strings are combined with Tiësto remixes of the Musical Mushrooms (Muzikale Paddenstoelen), Carnaval Festival, Joris en de Draak (George and the Dragon), Raveleijn and Spookslot's Danse Macabre (Haunted Castle).
For this Aquanura-Tiësto version the lights in and around the pond are more powerful and used more in a type of concert style. The new show can be admired during special occasions such as New Year’s Eve celebration in the spring and on the nine Saturdays of the Nine Squares Festival.
Op 16 december 2014 ging de nieuwe DJ Tiësto show van Aquanura in première. De show bestaat uit een nieuwe programmering met speciale tracks en remixes van/door DJ Tiësto waaronder diverse Efteling-melodien.
Aquanura is the name of a fountain system in the Efteling theme park in the Netherlands. The premiere took place on 31 May 2012 on the park's 60th anniversary, and it opened to the public the following day. Aquanura has a total of 200 fountains divided in 9 types and each type with its own reach/effect. The light effects are custom built for this project. The fountain is the largest in Europe and was developed by WET Design (Water Entertainment Technologies). The fountain is the third largest in the world, after the The Dubai Fountain and the ones at Bellagio.
The show has a Frog King theme including 4 large frog replicas placed around the pond. The music is a medley of compositions based on theme songs of other attractions in the park.
