I have only seen 3 of his videos and I must say I agree. He takes his time explaining, understands that everyone watching this video is going to be at a different level
Most under rated guitar lesson channel on the tube... Thank you for sharing your talent. You do a great job. Features such as practice playthrough with chords on screen, links to different sections and tabs and tips on your website presses all my buttons. All lesson channels should be so complete. Dayum fine job!
I ❤ u! You teach those songs to a Level so precise but in the same time leave it to the performer to put their own work in! Outstanding work there! Two songs you taught are now in my repertoire and became standard tunes. Thanks a lot
Perfect comfortable selection of song.I love"Heart of Gold".Your teaching techniques are absolutely perfect and impressive...!!!! Please keep on applying this method of teaching that really really makes me easy to grasp the theme of what you're trying to give your followers.Thank you so so much! God Bless you..!!!!I'm from the Paradise of the Indian Ocean...
Thanks so much for the very kind compliments and encouragement! It means a lot to know the lessons are helpful. Wishing you all the best from almost the exact other half earth!
Excellent lesson David. One of my favorite Neil Young songs that I’ve been playing on my guitar for many years and learned some enhancements from your great instruction. Thank you!
David, you're fantastic! So clear and well-presented. Really appreciate your efforts to put the tabs, chords and lyrics on top of your playing, and all the zoom in and out. Thank you very much!
I've just started working on this song and have watched a few video lessons, this is by far the best! You teach it exceptionally well and make it easy to learn the song. Thanks!
Gary H , I’m doing the same. And you are correct. He has the best tutorial. I’m struggling with the timing of the chords with the singing . I notice you have to hold that d strum without singing. To give time to finish on the g chord. Cheers
Thanks David! Another great lesson. A classic song. Appreciate all the options you give along the way. Still a relatively new player (6 months) but progressing because of videos from you. Cheers!
Mate" you've put symplycity into playing the guitar, couldn't ask for a better teacher to make it so simple, I've learnt more in 1 hour than have in one week by others, well done" thumbs up!! Keep up the good work, ( slow & steady wins the race) 🤟😷👍
I appreciate your teaching style. When I decided to return to learning the guitar this is the song I wanted to start with. I love Neil. This is one of the first 45's I bought when I was a kid. Thanks for helping me get closer to my dream of playing a Neil Young song.
Great lesson. here are some Neil Young songs I would love to learn. Helpless, Down By The River, Southern Man, Ohio and Keep On Rockin In The Free World.
Great tutorial. I would love it if you could do a tutorial on Neil Young's song look out for my love from his unplugged album. Its probably one of the best songs he ever made.
The overlay of the chords, and strum pattern is extremely effective.. Thanks so much for the great lesson on a great song... Best of luck in the coming year... From a Texan in the Philippines...
Would be very nice if at the end of the lesson you played the entire song so we could play together. Apart from that, the lesson was very very good. I am subscribing at you channel right now because of you methology. Congrats!
Great lesson! Was checking out several of these tonight and yours is the best so far! Great that you add in the tabs on the video. Makes it so much easier to follow along. Thanks David!
hey! just want to say thank you. i didn't download the notes, but this was so amazingly clearly presented. (And i watched a bunch of different ones to try and figure things out before yours.) thank you so much!
Searched for this song and found your Channel . LOVE how you explain the strumming . THANK YOU . Wonderful teaching. Going to explore more of your work. Thank you for sharing this. I found it easy to follow , extremely informative and included all the information a learner like myself would every want to know :D . I feel brave enough to even have a go at it . INSPIRED and SUPPORTED. Keep up the amazing work.
Fantastic lesson - unfortunately I picked up a new toy, a ukulele, yesterday so was trying to transpose it to the beginner uke chords - C, Am, F, G - keep it up. Pleased to be a Patron to you and my other Austin TX connection, Rebecca Loebe.
Nice! Best of luck with the uke... one day i want to make a ukulele channel or at least make some videos here for some of my favorite songs. Thanks for letting me know about Rebecca L - gonna check her out! All the best

THIS was so easy to learn! You are a great teacher! This is EXACTLY the kind of tutorials I'm looking for. Definitely going to subscribe to your channel!! And devour anything else you have to teach that I like!
Yup! Definitely been on my list. Was listening to the album last night and was certainly focusing in on that song - it has stumped me in the past but that was years ago and I’m sure with some perseverance I can get it.
Great lesson thx, I wish I could find a lesson for the harmonica part but played for guitar, I know the progression for that part but I mean with some melody in it...again thx love your detailed lessons.
Great video,Great Channel and the notes help so much thank you!! Also, for the Em7 chord you can also use the index and middle for the 2nd Frets of the A and D string and use the RING finger for the 3rd Fret of the B string so that it is easier to switch to the D chord Thanks!!Great Video as always!!
