As soon as I saw this video I knew it was PERFECT for my cousin (we are just a few months apart in age and were often mistaken as twins as kiddos). We are both piano players, and many times took turns playing the pump organ at our Nanny's house. When I heard she was ill (the C-word), I knew I had to make a card to let her know I was thinking of her, and this one is absolutely PERFECT! I managed to get it to work out....used black card, of course for the piano....created my own little 'sheet music' bit (the hymn "His Eye is on the Sparrow"), and did pansies on the top (our Nanny had a magnificent bed of pansies when we were growing up!). I can't remember what it's called but, I started with a layer of the image...then cut bits and pieces to layer on top to create a somewhat 3-dimensional look. Now if this hurricane passes, I will be able to get out and get it posted off to her. :) Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for this beautiful card base!!
I’ve NEVER seen a piano card better than this one! It’s better than any day I’ve ever seen it’s absolutely spectacular! You have one incredibly creative mind, and you even do it in a way to cut down on waste on paper. I see so many card makers on RU-vid that just waste so much paper! I just wanna yell at them. They may have the money for that but I don’t and it really bothers me. Not you you take that consideration and I really hold you at a high regard for that. I appreciate being able to have these templates for no money especially for the people that struggle financially. That’s very kind of you and I truly appreciate it. I’ll definitely give what I can when I can. You’re doing it for the love of card making. Card making can get very expensive.
