Hi bro, I wanted to take this model, but I heard that the keys are light, I went to the store and really realized that I needed something similar to an acoustic piano, can you recommend such midi?
Just subbed! I fully believe in supporting anyone in our Arturia family 😎😎👍🏻👍🏻 Just out of curiosity, I just decided today to see if the KeyLab Essential 61 MkIII is able to function as an MPC … which I don’t think it can, but I’m hunting down this info nonetheless lol. I also see some using Ableton Live to create entire live performances with the KeyLab… but I haven’t tried it yet with mine… mostly because I use Logic Pro X… Either way, I love the Arturia midi controllers and I think I’m picking up the upgraded version just to have a few extra options 👍🏻
Really enjoyable content Lui! I'm definitely subscribing to you. I'm a looong time aspiring music creator and I always put it off, I'm looking into buying my first piece of gear to get started making music at home, Do you highly recommend a certain DAW for a complete beginner?
Mine is ordered. Gonna mount it on a Startech Keyboard/Mouse Under Desk Slide to avoid using long sliders either side. This might work or need it screwed in one position to avoid falling but at 3KG it's not far off the 2KG load. It might wobble a bit but want to try. Wondering what the other hole is on the rear left of screen.
Hi, I am not new to arranger keyboards but new to Midi keyboards. I ordered Keylab Essential Mk3 61 keys on Amazon and instead got Keylab Mk2 61keys. Should I keep the Mk2 or return it and take the Essential Mk3?
I hate that manufacturers are putting the small usb type c connection on these large devices. Just give us a solid connection that isn't prone to being accidently smashed.
Any buzz on whether a proper keylab 88 mk3 is about to drop? I really need something to compare the new NI MK3s with. But Arturia is known to not improve their products over time like the keystep pro.
Does the arp on the mk3 tempo sync? One of the things about the akai mpk mini that i liked was that it had an arp but in order to get it to tempo sync you had to load up a utility etc.. PITA. Also does the arp sync out from the midi out?
I currently have the 25 key minilab mk2, are the keys similar to that or even better? I'm fine with how they feel, I was just curious. I just need a keyboard with more keys. It's either this, or the M-Audio keystation mk3
Thank you for your video! Is it possible to use the Arturia softwares in more than one device. I mean, download in a pc for using at home and in a tablet for using in the stage?
arpegiator is useless if it doesn't come with hundreds of patterns, if it's just to do the 4 usual basic patterns I think we can work it out in the daw........🙄 why always so poor with the amount of patterns
I discourage using any midi controller arp or chord trigger. Use the same midi FX in your DAW. They’re better and don’t depend on hardware, when you change controllers or collaborate with others.
Nikita, the new mk3 comes only in 49 and 61. Didn't you research? Here is the official link: www.arturia.com/products/hybrid-synths/keylab-essential-mk3/overview
It could be, but you’d have to have it running through software instruments. So it would need to be connected to a computer the whole time. My church has a midi board running through Abelton live.
I wonder if if the mk3 still gets stuck on notes when doing palm slides on the blacks keys? I had to adjust my playing on the mk2. There was never a fix as far as I know for this problem.
I know that music productions often rely on equipment associated with Mac computers/laptops. On the other hand, I use a PC for my daily work. I came across an opinion somewhere that Arturia + Ableton works better with Mac, and if someone wants to use a PC, they should consider the Novation + FL Studio combination. The problem is, I really like Arturia and would like to use it with Ableton on my Windows PC. Does it make sense? Also, I'm thinking more about using a laptop rather than a desktop computer, because I don't plan to create something like a home studio at the moment, and I value mobility more.
Music production is only associated with mac due to marketing, there is no objective benefit to using their products. Ethics wise, there is a benefit to avoiding them
I just ordered a second hand one. I hear you can claim the licence for 2nd hand keyboards for analog lab... I already have quite a few plugins, I just got komplete 14
Hi, I have a quick question. What is the difference between the black and white version? The price differences slightly. Is it jist the color difference or something else too? Im buying one tomorrow!!! Cant wait!! Have been making music with ableton gor months now and I feel like this will be awesome to have
