Wow, Persian instruments are the last thing I would expect PMEX to use. Sounds tribal, which fits the old wise dragon lady feel of Drasna and nails the "dragon city" vibe. The bongos are a nice touch too. I also like how the synth flows well with the Persian instruments. 0:32 is definitely my favorite bit. Definitely the second favorite out of the Kalos E4 themes, just shy below Malva's. A high A for my tierlist.

@@hunterhq295 maybe they could make individual remixes of the "Elite Leader" theme that plays during the tournament fights before you reach Leon? Before you fight Leon in the story, you have to fight Nessa, Bea/Allister, and Raihan. So that could be the potential Galar "Elite Four" if they decide to make a Galar champion stadium.

@@hunterhq295 They'll do something for Galar, no doubt about that, the real question lies in HOW they'll do it. Galar has no real E4 and it'll feel wrong to just include the people you fight, since they weren't the E4 but rather just tournament opponents like everyone else. Honestly despite the confusion, I'm kinda excited to see how DeNa will tackle it

a main guess on why the composer choose to include the Mid East instruments. It is related to Drasna her name. Drasaena is a plant appears in Island Socotra, Canarias, and Morocco.

last thing i expected was this to sound Persian (just realised that is a pokemon as well, would have been comical if she had it), but i kinda like it. wish they stuck to the later part of the kalos e4 instead of the build up though

The composer tends to only use half the song like this on purpose - the regular Kalos E4 theme used before this features that end buildup mostly unchanged, just as Sygna Suit Lysandre’s new theme features the latter half of his OG theme where his first Masters remix did not.
