I've never responded to a video before. But as an avid windsurfer, I now feel the urge to share the following: I know how much time and energy all of this takes. Both for you, Nico, and for the video man and editor, Lars. That's why I want to compliment both of you for all the time and energy you've put into making these professional videos. You are an example for many of us! Lastly, I wanted to share what a fantastic event this was. Let's please continue with this and expand this concept. 85% of the surfers use a fin and want to see this. So if more sponsors are needed to make this possible, this is really the way to do it!!! My 2 cents!

The great work you do with social media is essential to improve the world of windsurfing at 360 degrees. Sponsor, image, visibility, sharing, information, teachings, ecc. It definitely won't be easy to combine life as an athlete but you are doing an excellent job on all fronts. Thank you Nico.

This was an epic event. The conditions were insane & I really enjoyed the format. By constantly changing something on the course it forced all of you to adapt, which made it difficult for you but kept the event from getting stale or boring. Congratulations to Bjorn for putting on such a great event.👏 I can not wait for Fuerteventura 🤙

That was great. I'm now fully motivated to get on the board... but the lake looks like glass in front of my house, and there's not a single leaf moving on the trees... 🤣😭😭 To handle high winds with the gear you have, if you're over powered, I imagine new sails are like older sails, and having a lot a downhaul will move the pressure center forward and open up the leech, allowing you to handle your sail easier. Basics, but maybe not everyone knows...

Currently watching this video after your home workout and at this moment I am so grateful that there are people like you who are so passionate about this sport and with their work create access to windsurfing for everyone out there. Many thanks also to your team (camera, editing, wife, etc.), who certainly contribute a great deal to these very professional and beautiful videos ❤ The event was really great and it was a lot of fun to follow! Action, variety, excitement, and emotions - everything you could wish for in such an event 🤙🏼 I hope you manage to make windsurfing a bit more popular - I certainly wish that for all of us.

That was awesome. Way to land those wave faces in the jibes. In that last jibe, your opponent nailed that wave face, and it gave him a huge boost. That is why it was so close. If you got a good wave face on that last jibe it "woulda coulda shuda" put you way out front. In tuning, reducing the sail size by a little bit will reduce drag by a little bit. Of course the sail size cannot be small enough to leave you underpowered. However, smoth enough sailing will reduce the need for a larger sail to accelerate out of tight spots. Watching Björn, back in the day; he was just always aggressivly powered up and smoth, and his main competitor (of course Robbie Naish) was as so in tune with everything, and as much a part of the wind and the waves as the wind and the waves themselves.

The quality of your videos is really fantastic. From the sailing, the image quality, the drone footage, the music or the commentary, everything is awesome. A team effort packaged super well, thanks so much for sharing it with us.

What an event! I was shouting for you right through that last incredible race but however it all turned out you all put on the most thrilling show for us. Those drone images and the speed in that shop are crazy ! Thanks for those daily reports, they are great ! You make me want to buy slalom gear back 😅my fin gear is a JP Super Ride 92 and Atlas HD 6.2 + Combat 4.0 + Wizard 4.2. plus 2 fins that are not that fast but good value. Oh well, we do not get that much wind here, and my foil gear is what makes most of my sessions so... I'll be reasonnable 😅

10 to 7 ! The Speed runs are really one notch up from what your average windsurfer is capable of. Mostly down to time on the water, brute strength and muscle memory which only comes with hours and hours of practice. Coolest slalom videos out there yet. Thanks.

I have a question-the other day you adjusted the rake of your fin to loosen up the board etc. How did you adjust the fin when it’s a Tuttle box and seems as though the the fin basically sits in the box in one position only after tightening the screws? Keep up the good work! Greg

Great videos, Nico. Great racing. I thought last year's foil racing was really on the edge, but you guys showed us that it can be just as edgy on the fin. It just needs the right conditions. The waves and the sausage definitely added another dimension, and created more possibilities for people to show off different skills. Bad luck in not winning the last elimination. You just ended up on the wrong side of a wave at the last mark. Next time...
