Your owner's manual or the internet should tell you what fuse runs your power windows. You should probably have a selection of fuses in the car. There may even be extra stored in the fuse box.

Thanks! I brought it to the shop and they ruled out fuses. That was the door that was hit in my accident, so it’s possible the connector is loose. Hoping it’s that and not some electrical issue 🙏

I bet you're happy to have your car back. That tree in the park is a wisteria tree or a form of it. I want to shop in that store. Love you and I'm having coffee with you as I type.

delightful video... nice to see some familiar sights. its so funny to see places like that ferreteria that also sells food! things like that are common in much of the world but so counter to the very specialized places we are used to in the US and Canada. good to know about the recycling depot. this is always a concern for me when travelling around Latin America. I stayed at the Golden Frog so they took care of all the recycling during my stay there. not sure if you know this - when you showed the Melo store... the CIA part is an abbreviation for "compania", so it's Melo and Company in English. I didnt know that when I was there. I had to ask my girlfriend when I got back to Mexico. right now I am in San Cristobal de las Casas Mexico. the landscape is kind of similar to El Valle - I can see at least 6 mountains from my air bnb and the town sort of sits in a flat area surrounded by peaks. of course the big difference here is the old center of town is all colonial era buildings... oh, and we are at 7000 ft elevation so it's almost always temperate. anyways, cheers and thanks for the video!

Wow, 7,000 ft is high! Hard to imagine Home Depot selling milk and meat 😆 Though they certainly have the space for it. Today I was in Costa Verde and saw a collection for used cooking oil! It gets sent to Europe and used for fuel.

had to reply again to your comment about how do all these places stay in business when there are so many of them selling the same things? ya, and they are always stacked to the rafters in goods. that what I dont get about Latin America. so many independent businesses all selling the same things, and often things that would be in low demand. I think Mexico its even more extreme than Panama. the ratio of businesses to population must be at least 10x what you get in the US and Canada. in Guadalajara they have some blocks downtown where there are a dozen papelerias clustered together, then on the next block 10 stores that sell party supplies and decorations, then on the next block 8 opticians and thats not even mentioning the fresh food markets where you have many dozens of people selling food... all that would be replaced by a single grocery store in our home countries. I have lost track of how many times I have wondered and asked "how do all these people make a living?" when so often the number of vendors is greater than the number of clientes!

I know!?!? I really don’t know. Some of the stuff is so random or a thing you may only need once a year, but the David Ferreteria is always busy!

@@Pattybluehayes The little stores are usually owned by Asian Panamanians. In Panama they have a reputation for being business savvy.

You silly, the incentive is not for them to approve it so that you could pay taxes. The incentive for them is to delay the approval as much as possible so that you will cash up to expedite approval.

I hear stories of this a lot, but this is a small casita and I truly didn’t get that vibe from the women in the office. If mine were a bigger project, I could see how holding out for a payment could happen.

Is sad, but in some places, where is government legal papers have to be done, some people are just waiting to made Xtra money. I love my country, but this people always looking for foreign to made some money. This even happens to me, when I went to help my kids get their Panamanians identification.
