Extending their unbeaten run to 13 games since their last defeat on Good Friday, Mousehole made their first-ever appearance in the national FA Trophy competition in 28-degrees heat on Malvern Town’s 3G pitch, and after a delayed kick-off caused by travel problems on their long journey, they created then surrendered a two-goal lead, surviving a 20-minute period when they were second-best, before wrapping up the match with two late strikes, to make it nine matches without loss in League and Cups this season, having scored 13 goals in the last three matches while conceding eight.
