It's a straight run to the ONLY turn, (you said "the first" turn, intimating that there is a second turn) then one bend, if you are going to draw wide that would be the barrier(1200m at Caulfield) to do it, You put the pen through Rue De Royale who is a Melbourne Horse, it's last two runs have been in Sydney against Sydney horses on their turf, he was a bit unlucky in running second to Shangri La Express, beaten just on a Length, Shangri La Express is considerably shorter in Slipper Markets than Bodyguard, Coleman and High Octane, who are the 3 favs in this, Chad Schofield has come down to ride it, that is good enough for a horse they are betting $91 about to have something on Another one I think is overs is Fearless, look at it's two Barrier Trials before it resumed, it beat Bodyguard both times, it was in front of Bodyguard in one and Bodyguard could not catch him, in the other Fearless went back to last and ran over the top of Bodyguard, When Fearless resumed it was a certainty beaten, it most likely was going to the Silver Slipper but with Sydney's unpredictable wet weather, I'd say they switched to this race, again I think the price is wrong ($41) There is no stand out in this race for mine, for that reason I am looking for Value and I think the above two will love the 1200, they will be strong when it counts p.s. I also have the 50's High Octane in the Slipper so I would be happy if he ran well
