Christina, I was so happy to tune in, and to my pleasant surprise, you were showing diy curtains, something I was contemplating! Thank you for the tutorial, I am encouraged! 👍
The curtains just blew me away!! Absolutely beautiful!! I am so excited you showed finger crochet!! I will definitely be trying those to match my blanket I did from your video!! Now crochet hook I cannot do...I'm left handed so holding that hook in right hand I cannot do lol Love the fur babies!! The expressions on their faces are so cute!!
Thank you so much Vickey 🙏 for you kind comment and feedback! My Husband Ryan is also left handed and does not like the crochet hook! He did try finger crochet with much success! Again thank you so much for your thoughtful words ♥️♥️♥️
Well done my girl. I am a seamstress. I made my curtains by hand, way back in the early 70's. I also sewed my dresses and my daughter's by hand. The satisfaction of not using a sewing machine. A bit like knitting and crochet. The old ways. Xxx
Christina, I just love all of your knitting and crocheting projects! You make it look so easy. I have both knitting and crocheting experience, since my grandmother thought me as a child, many many years ago. Thank you for your videos! Donna
O my Hanna your curtains are absolutely gorgeous great job!!!!!! Love love love the throw pillows you made with the chunky yarn!!!!! Y’all have a beautiful and blessed day also weekend to!!!! Toodles till next time♥️
Love your curtains! You measured perfectly. For future reference pre wash your fabric so your curtains don’t shrink. Also trim off the selvages so they don’t pull. You did a fantastic job. I have never heard of Annie Sloan fabric, I am going to check it out. Thank you.
I love the pillow and the curtains! Living in a historic house in New Orleans, finding them is a bear! Making them is far better! Thank you so for the beautiful lessons!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment 🙏 yes, the making your own curtains in n old historical home is much easier than finding the right fit ♥️♥️ But the process is much more satisfying than purchasing 😉
Although I crochet, I have never tried it without a hook and using fingers but you make it look so easy! Loved your video! So handy and creative. Thanks for sharing and inspiring! enjoyed your video! 😀😀😀

Wow! I have always wanted to hand knit and or crochet I finally found a video that made sense to me you are awesome at your creations and your instructions definitely have a new subscriber in me thank you very much God bless looking forward to many more videos and binging of course😆
Always enjoy your videos, as much for the calm and relaxing vibe as for the projects. The crochet pieces are my favorites, but I appreciate the range of projects you present. I discovered your channel when searching for a crocheted basket DIY and have since watched nearly all your videos. Yours was also the first channel I subscribed to.
Hi Christina……I do hope I’m not repeating myself from other subscribers…….if you slide an empty toilet roll in between each grommet space on the pole, you will create an even fold for your curtains to drape beautifully…..you can alter the length of the toilet roll to suit your window width by just cutting the toilet roll to the desired length…..it makes your curtains look very stylish……love your videos, you’re extremely talented and creative xx 😘
You have a babylock, here wonderful,i have 7 sewing machines,i make curtains, and lots of things, but mostly quilts....i finished a chunky throw last week.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and I hope to make as much creative ideas as you!! ♥️ I have always wanted to try quilts! It’s very artistic. I am sure your projects are beautiful!
Absolutely love the crochet pillows❤️ I really want to try the zigzag stitch. Also will like to try to sew curtains for my family room, I just got to get the confidence to sew!!!
I’m always excited to see what you have created!🥰 You’re such a breathe of fresh air with your creativity! I’m 70 yrs. old and watched my grandmother crochet and knitted with my mother but I never wanted to learn:( 😒And now I’m sorry I haven’t but you have given me more inspiration! My Mother and grandmother have passed so I can’t ask her or my aunties to show me. It you have given me confidence to challenge myself. With your help I think I can do this! I did buy yarn and started!💟🤩 I love to see you and your husband take so much proud in refurbishing furniture and the homes you’ve been in. God bless you both.💝✝️
I love all of your crochet projects and especially your finger knitting. I’m 71 years young and was taught at the age of thirteen to crochet and the stitches were: ch 1 = sc, ch 2 = hdc, and ch 3 = dc. Every pattern book in America reads the same way, so your ch 2 for dc is different. Is that a BC measurement for crocheting or the way you were taught? Thx
I store my paints in all kinds of places lol 😂 But I don’t store them where they can possibly freeze 🥶, if a paint freezes it will definitely separate permanently and it can’t be used. Cold environments are okay just not freezing temperatures. My #1 recommendation is the basement or laundry room! If you live in a warmer climate then garages are perfect 👍🏻
You make crocheting so simple and relaxing. I have always been intimidated and stressed when I crocheted. I think I can try again with one of your videos. I like that you are so succinct with your instructions and that you give us how many skeins you use. Thank you!
Pure Music for our Eyes! Thank you for showing us your creativity and love for textile design! Your fur babies I am sure love anything soft and cuddly. I am working on curtains with vintage Ralph Lauren fabric, thanks for your expertise ❤️👏❤️
Your demo of making grommet window treatments was wonderful. I always wanted to make my own but had no idea where to start. It looks manageable. Will be giving it a go after I paint the living room. Thanks again!
Кристина здравствуйте! Женщины в России часто шьют шторы сами. Подбирают ткань и шьют шторы разного дизайна. Такая красивая ткань у вас.! Но она очень сильно садиться, почти на 10 см. Спасибо, всех вам благ!
I love your videos especially when you crochet pillows, blankets, etc. I have tried and always forget that Last stitch at the end so I replay your video and see my mistake. For Christmas I made 2 blankets for gifts they came out beautiful. Will try the t-shirt material next. Please continue with your videos you are great at speaking and teaching. Greatly Appreciate It. E Ramos
Hi Christina…like before, I’m going to be a copycat and creat a finger-knit blanket but the zig zag pattern 😃, thanks for the inspiration and the how-to- instructions!! Luvya
You have made many pillows. I have been following along for quite a while. I am wondering if it is possible for you to post a reel or a photo or something that shows a bunch of your pillows next to each other so that we can compare what the different stitches and different yarns look like. That would be really helpful for me in choosing. And then maybe in the links below that you could link each one to its appropriate 😍 Thanks for another fantastic video and good projects!
For me crochet is very relaxing, but I am use to do it with a #10 needdle and a very fine HILO, I forgot how to say in inglish, but I love it doing crochet with my fingers, can wait to see where they have the Henry one. I love it !!!!
`when you sew your side seams and header, hem. use your presser foot as a guide. Or the measurements on the throat plate. Stitching should be about a 1/4" from the fold or just along the fold.
