Pregnant mothers on bed rest, hospitalized for the holidays. Doesn't sound like the most desirable way to spend the holiday season. Well my sister-in-law had a Christmas just like that one year and she was so grateful for the service someone gave to her when she was pregnant with twins and stuck in the hospital on bed rest over the holidays. So much so that every year since then she has participated in assembling and distributing hope bags to pregnant women hospitalized for the holidays on bed rest.
What a wonderful gift for these expectant mothers of potentially high risk pregnancies as well as an incredible opportunity for us to provide service and teach our children about the true Christmas spirit!
