I ordered your hat! It warms my heart knowing that some of the proceeds are going towards an organization so important to you and your family and that the rest of the money is going towards you and Peter. I was in the hospital for months at one point in my life due to IBD and the medical bills add up, I cannot imagine what you are dealing with. I will have IBD forever just as you will have CF, but we will both fight and seeing your story helps me realize that even though we all have our own struggles, there are others there like you to help lift my spirits in time of distress with your beautiful smile and story. I am actually graduating nursing school in a few months and this motivates me to help others feel a little better when they’re at their worst. Thank you for doing what you do and don’t ever stop fighting. I’ll be thinking about you next week as you sit in that dang hospital bed feeling lonely and bored out of your mind...I get it.

Every time Mary has difficulty breathing, coughing, talking- my chest hurts and I feel like I have a hard time breathing myself. I hate that feeling. I’ve been on life support twice due to asthma attacks and I can’t imagine living with the feeling, the cough- daily. Those with chronic illness are my hero’s. My own two type one diabetics at the forefront of it, but Mary has been an inspiration to me especially when I have difficulty breathing. Thank you for the small glimpse into your daily lives Peter and Mary. It makes me so thankful that while our battles are different in nature- we aren’t alone. 💙

Around this time of year six years ago I was admitted to the hospital for emergency lung surgery, on breathing machine and in an induced coma, until the begining of September. Glad you guys have a plan and may God be with you, you’ll do great

Dahlia’s are BEAUTIFUL!! U should google them and see the amazing varieties/colours they come in!! They are annuals, but if you carefully dig up the tubers in fall after the first frost (when the foliage goes all black), you can dry the tubers out for a few of days in a spot out of direct sunlight. Leave a couple of inches of stem on each tuber. Once dry, remove excess soil and store over winter in a well ventilated box with slightly moist sand, peat moss or vermiculite. Store in a cool, dry location with temperatures between 45-55F. Check periodically thru winter for over drying and rotting tubers-remove any parts of the tubers have rotted so they don’t “infect” the good parts/other tubers. If they shrivel a bit, you can mist them to revive them. The tubers can be fragile, so be gentle when handling them. When the weather warms, you can replant the tubers, and repeat the cycle over and over again!!! Very thrifty!!! Thanks for your amazing heart Mary and Peter!!! Your faith is inspirational your approach to life is amazing and I love how real and honest you are. Watching you two on days where I have body pain or migraines or when my anemia screws me over. And!! On the good days! When It’s like I can do anything. Y’all jus make everyone feel like family and it’s so wonderful

The flower that you pointed out earlier was a dahlia and I agree, they're so beautiful. Around the part of England I'm from, we have a fair few of them, especially where my dad lives. There's this house with a huge drive and front garden lined with bricks which contains all kinds of flowers but the vast majority are dahlias. They're the most gorgeous smelling and looking flowers 💕

Mary, I'm sure your doctors are on top of all of this, but please make sure that they don't give you too much anesthesia. They over did it with me this last time and It really compromised my lungs to where I now have to sleep with oxygen. It's taken me 2 years to bounce back and feel decent. I've had 4 sinus surgeries and always felt so much better afterwards, but this last time took a toll. Praying for you and that all will go smoothly and you won't have the complications with the IV's as before.

Praying for you guys as you go into the hospital. I'll pray for the least amount of side effects, but the most effect with the IV antibiotics. Also, I'm a nurse and wish I could just come take care of you Mary :) I have loved learning about CF since I have been watching your vlogs. I'm a medical nerd too. You all inspire me with your positive attitudes...I know some days are super frustrating and hard, but you all just keep pushing through!

My boyfriend uses the Freestyle Libre for his sensor on the back of his arm, since he's Type One Diabetic. He says it's causes pain at first but becomes use to it shortly after inserting it. We all believe in you Mary and just keep thinking that you have so much support, not only from Peter and Ollie but your RU-vid family and especially God. Will be watching and praying for you.

Hi, guys! A friend of mine from school is currently in the hospital with complications from cystic fibrosis. His name is Jake. He has a feeding tube going through into his stomach, and as of right now, he is doing okay. His wife and friend are keeping everyone updated. You guys are awesome and truly inspiring. I myself suffer from a bunch of chronic illnesses, but watching what you go through gives me a different perspective on life. P.S. my 8-year old daughter has T1D and is starting on the Dexcom G6 shortly. She currently has the G5 with the t:slim, but soon t:slim is releasing the integration with the G6. Can’t wait!!

Sounds like good plans ahead. My healing prayers are with you Mary, to help your lungs breathe easier and for the sinus surgery to give you relief from your headaches and prevent further infections. You are so sweet, and always with a smile, even on the rough days. Peter, I love your haircut, very handsome! and those boat steps for Ollie are perfect, he will love it!! Dear Mary, when you showed your flowers I just saw that the Tagetes have some dried blossoms. You cut them off and they will restart blooming in an instance! Have a good weekend! I hope everything will work out ok in the hospital for you! All the best! sincerely Britta

I had sinus surgery when i was 18 and it helped me tremendously i have less colds and ear infections and i can breathe easier too I also had my adenoids and tonsils taken out the same time. Once Mary recovers from this I think she will be much happier. Mary i'm praying for you and hope everything goes well with the surgery

When you talk about the G6, I think of that song that goes “Rockin like a G6” and I think it should be the theme song for your Dexcom. My brain works in strange ways sometimes 😂
