It shouldn't take a child being at deaths door for a parent to starting showing care. That is guilt, not love.

If the parents can feel guilt, that means they do have feelings for their child. They realized they were wrong and thus did their best for the child. Whether it was genuine love or not, it was at least comforting the child. If the parents didnt feel guilt, that means they dont have any feelings towards their child at all.

parents hold their child in their hand for just a short time but hold in their heart forever, no matter guilt or love no one can beat parents in taking care and loving...as a severe asthmatic patient, I'm still counting that how many days have my mama and papa slept carefreely. You can't say those words casually..

ALS is a horrible, horrible disease. I have taken care of patients with it, and even as a trained nurse, it has always broken my heart. No cure, no hope. Just a steady decline and the patient is aware and trapped in a failing body. It is just devastating.

My family and I watched my dad go from being a healthy strong person to a man being eating alive from the inside out, not being able to help was the hardest thing to cope with.. before he got diagnosed with ALS my dad have nevered been sick in his life

So sad😢and touching but meaningful and realistic in real life. ❤Lin Tuo diagnosed with such terminal condition but his strongest support system of his faithful Gf Zhique, friends has helped so much. His family also realised at this point of time their past mistakes. Still better than some people who have to die at terminal last moments all alone only. Without anyone.

when I read plot I was qure I won't be able to watch it, I was right 😭🤧💔 I can just watched some scenes. It's 2nd drama about real disease with no cure. dramas like it to escape reality not livee it. But at the same time ot's give visibility to this disease

ALS, that's a bad one. I guess there won't be a happy ending here. Plus, AFS (Asshole Father Syndrome) sort of makes it a double tragedy. Now he can try to help and try to relate to his son and he wouldn't even come to him. How sad that is. Now he has his father's attention and it is just another gulf between them.

And another thing I’d like to add is that his boss was so harsh on him then suddenly switched character as soon as Lin Tuo told him about his illness. That’s another bad thing. One more gulf between them too. And the fact that the series ended with Lin Tuo hooked up to a ventilator is just sad. His dad is definitely gonna live with guilt for the rest of his life after the day Lin Tuo’s heart gives in since he eventually realised how bad of a father he was being.
