Nice video! This is actually my old ST205 I had for 4 years. I added the OEM recaro seats, Replica TRD skirts, Rota Force alloys and sold back in 2014. Watching this makes me regret selling it on so badly. It was always such a solid car and I hope it stays that way for you. Glad to see it's being kept well mate :).

All camera men / editors what did you think of the camera work for the cinematics I'm shooting them all myself now as well as the editing. Did this on a Sony Handy Cam think it came out okay although I really want to get a SLR so I can get that nice deep depth of field, like blurry backgrounds. Interested to hear your opinions though and what I can do to improve things cheers lads

Rich Lincoln I'm not entirely sure but that's what I remember hearing ^ a very interesting topic though, and the more I look at the Celica, the more I can see where it influenced my favourite Toyota model (Supra) but tbh, when I was younger, the Celica was more of one of my favourite cars thanks to the game called Juiced! But I'm an R34 GTR fanboy now lol

Aha yeah, i think i heard that as well. It was during the 80's i belive, like the Mark III was a Celica Supra something. Edit: went on good old internet Wiki, copy paste: "-The styling of the Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider.[2] Starting in mid-1986, the A70 Supra became a separate model from the Celica." So up untill the middke of the 80's it was Celica Supra then you can say ... if Wiki is ro be belived.

You deserve all the nice comments in the world for this video, it was a nice blend, with nice shooting, nice music and nice info. Some also commented about the lighting, or filters. Id agree and say it was movie like, Fujifilm god sent quality filtering all over, in the tone of it. So a very solid video through and through. I also think people like the "fact" talking, even if some might get loud in the comments, it makes for good content and stands out in a world of missinformation in general. Any S15 video would do at this point for me, living in a mountain of snow, depending on the angle your going to use maybe even several. Throwing out ideas here: When your S15 is done and before drift season kick in, make a cool showcase and talk about that car and S15´ns in general, make it a good source of collected Silvia info like this lovely Supra review =) ... OR just talk about your about your car from a "whats done" and a look at it from a race car percepctive in 1 video, and where that sits for the avrage joe drooling on a driftcar, and in gerneral about drifting showing your lovely face and car, and get more info doing 2 videos =) ..... one race car S15 video and one almost documentry, Monkey flavored, documentry ala show case style. Id love the documentry style .... and edit .... to much rambling =) Id say there is so far no good documentries on S15ns in generale on the RU-vid or any other place i know of (feel free to point me in a general direction on that one, i beg you plz) and that is what i would love the utter most.

Great video! The intro was spot on, and J's knowledge and enthusiasm of the GT-Four is definitely accurate! The ST205 was a bucket list car of mine for years, though not yet legal to import here across the pond(about a year left, though!). I bought my second ST165(46K original miles) a few years ago and I can't fathom replacing it, so I think the ST205 will have to wait. Not quite as fast(I'm estimating about 220-230bhp after light mods and not touching the factory boost control), but everything about the chassis feel, handling, and high speed stability is very much identical. They aren't as popular as the other rally legends of the era, but I still get people asking me about mine. All in all a very rare, fun piece of history to cruise around in!

In U.S, they call this the Celica All-Trac. As mentioned, It's basically a Celica with AWD & MR2 Turbo (3S-GTE) motor. Here it was sold from 88-89 in ST165 chassis and 90-93 in ST185 chassis. Unfortunately, we never got the ST205 version. However, I do believe in recent years there have been just a handful of Japanese ST205 GT-Fours imported stateside but you're talking serious money. Btw fun fact that stock CT26 Turbo can safely push 15-20psi. Thanks for sharing your iconic car. I hope to own one someday

My buddy had one, it was awesome I remember him replacing the blown out struts and he had to cut up his brand new coil overs and Frankenstein them to the existing bits.

I have the ST215 Caldina Gtt. It also has the 3SGTE but uses a CT26 turbo. Great car, nimble as for a station wagon too. The latest version of the Caldina is a GT4 as well. Great cars, great engines. There are a couple around pushing 400-450 horse atw.

GT-Four, one of my all time favorites. A local dude had one many years ago, wich had wider fenders and some fat deep dish wheels! Proper rebel stance, really loved how it looked, a shame that car doesnt exist anymore..

As a fellow superstrut owner in my ae101 fx-gt corolla, I feel all your pain! Had to rebuild my suspension twice in my ownership so far due to failures lol, awesome car you have there! Always had a love for these cars, not very common to see them here in New Zealand so ive not been able to get a ride in or experience what they are like, but hopefully one day I can ;) sick video as always, keep up the great work! :D
