The clear indicators are from the facelift model man. Your car would have had amber corners originally. The rear lights on your car are extremely rare aswel not the standard lights but a factory option. Facelift had different front bumper aswell and 3 spoke steering wheel 👍

EP starlet / glanzas are such fun little weapons! Had a few n/a ones that just limiter bashed constantly...280k on one of them and still used no fluids. Enjoyed it because you *never* worried about it so was just thrashed on!
I remember a lot of people saying the glanza v was quite unreliable and shit in which I was surprised to hear, put me off buying one really, would still love to own one 🥵
I remember when any Ford nut who owned a Ford but not a Cossie, had a 2.1 ZVH turbo conversion. MK3 Fiesta's and S2 Escorts with these conversions were proper fast. T34 turbo's, full mongoose exhausts, Gaz gold's, bleed valves, Compomotive M05.
Had a white Glanza V when I was 18. Paid €1000 for it in 2011. Completely standard had 1 owner since import before me 154,000km on the clock. Even had the original flare in the foot well. If only I knew how much that would be worth today 😭

I had this and the Starlet GT Turbo ep82 (1991) before this when I lived in Jamaica. So, so much potential. Comes standard with the ct9 turbo attached to the 4efte motor. Many of the guys used to swap for the bigger 5e motor. A few guys back in the early 2000's or there about were running 400 to 600whp on these little things. Me personally never got past 250 whp. This thing is MAD! I would love to have this in the states. A JDM importer friend got one from Japan last year. A crazy head turner at car shows here in South Florida.

How reliable are these cars? Cos I know the engines are like chocolate when it comes to the 1.3 turbos, some people say they are bad some people don’t have any issues, my mates previously had one and it never left the garage
I remember a met a guy who has a 1.6 corolla from this year. And he had a factory supercharger on it. And he put an afternarket turbo and intercooler on it. Was awesome 😎 also had a nightmare of a time getting it to work 😂 even though he was a mechanic. But when it was finished and I went for a drive in it. Flippin heck it was quick
These things are blisteringly quick, but handle shit. Before anyone jumps down my throat a friend had one did all the usual suspension mods; coilovers, urethane bushes, pan hard rod on the back end. Was running a custom turbo from Malta IIRC. Thing is it got done by a 1.7 Ford Puma, around Mallory Park with similar suspension mods (coilovers and urethane bushes etc) and had a Miltek Manifold and Exhaust. No matter how quick on the straights the Puma pulled away in every corner.
I have one of these cars it's great i drive for 30 minutes everyday down the motorway. It's very reliable. I just want to keep upgrading it. Doing the plugs cambelt and air cleaner this weekend. great car
had one of these as my first car the an ep82 gt turbo followed by a glanza v. plenty of John moments in all 3 🤣 would love another and td04 it but a bit old now!
