Gonna point it here, the Aldabra giant tortoise is from the Island of Aldabra in the Seychelles! (near south Africa) While i think you meant the Galapagos tortoise from the Galapagos islands that are near South America :D!
For the polar bear i would use the right size for the habitat, but make it so the guests can't see everything. Something like a little back area where they can rest or sleep or something to make the habitat look smaller.
For the llama you could do a petting zoo or ranch section together with the dall sheep and the American bison? They are all somewhat animals or related to animal which were are used by humans in a way. So gathering them in a setting like a ranch could be fun, maybe adding a playground for children there aswell?
Came hereto say this. You could also add the reindeer to this section. The zoo near me (Brookfield Zoo) in Chicago has one with goats, llamas, reindeer, and a few types of plains animals. They also have a walk in habitat with wallabies but you could do one with peafowl. Bison would gore you to death before they let you really pet them, but they’d definitely fit with the aesthetic.
Awesome video!!! I think one day there should be a north American/Europian pack, because north america and Europe have the same animals like squirrels, hedgehogs, deer, badgers, foxes, and raccoons :)
gorgeous build! in terms of polar bears - i've seen the sentiment from several zoo-related sources that basic enclosure space is important, but what is far more important is enrichment and an interesting enclosure. an animal will, realistically, be happier in a slightly-too-small enclosure that has lots of interesting and novel things for it to do and engage with (like parts of its enclosure that can be moved or modified by keepers to make the animal feel like it's in a new or different place) than it would be in an enormous but more empty enclosure. one idea is to have a slightly smaller public area for the polar bear with lots of enrichment, and then a backstage/out-of-view area where it's less interesting but has more space for it to "chill out" and fullfil its space requirements a bit more.
Волгоград смотрит твои чудеса ) В ru сегменте planet zoo, вообще нет таких специалистов по данной игре и дизайну как ты. Ты топ. С удовольствием смотреть бы без ускорения стройку, а в реальном времени. Ты красивая 😘
When I made a Polar Bear habitat, I made it the central area of my northern part of my zoo, surrounded by small areas of plants and shops. Around this habitat I built larger buildings and domes that housed the other Arctic animals.
Copenhagen zoo has a lot of great habitats like the African part they have a savannah enclosure split up in three, but they are still connected by building it so the smaller animal can cross into the bigger animals parts ( Giraffe, Hippos, and rhinos are split op ) and the Asian elephant enclosure is pretty awesome. the zoo also has a great arctic part and an awesome flamingo cage/aviary
DeLadysigner Thank you! Though you guys make more extravagant enclosures, so I get why that might be time consuming with size requirements as big as the Polar bears! 💕
I've been out of the country for quite sometime where I couldn't watch your vids.. You had 400 something subs and got back yesterday to find you have 80k plus subs... Great job!! Glad to see you still going at it
@@DeLadysigner yup.. I was in Iraq in the service.. On my leave youtube was last on my mind since I only got 4 weeks a year to be home. But now I'm home for 6 months time to catch up.
Your imagination is off the charts.. i'v seen some amazing builds in Planet Zoo, but nothing comes even close to yours.. But a little challenge. Maybe you could try to make the elephant house from Copenhagen Zoo. I'v tried it and failed big time. And thanks for your vids. They are a great inspiration
for the polar bear the way i did it was in sandbox cus the the size is way too much but i built a sort of inside encloseur with coolers and all and had an outside area for them that didnt have coolers and had a water feature stretch from the inside to the outside as a way for them to walk outside with an underwater veiwing
I love watching all your videos. I was finally able to make a successful dome with the South America pack pieces after lots of practice and watching you! Since you're always looking for inspiration the Indianapolis Zoo has a pretty cool dolphin building with an underwater viewing dome for guests. i think you could make something really cool like that. Also their Botanical Gardens building is super pretty. The new butterfly pieces could go really well with a building like that one since they actually keep all kinds of butterflies inside that building.
You should do a walkthrough habitat with the llamas! They are good with just a field they don’t need much! It you could build them a hill to climb up too! But I agree they don’t really go with the lush foliage from this pack.
This dome reminds me of the giant Gondwanaland dome/hall in the Leipziger Zoo in Germany. It's like a tropical rainforest with lots of animals like pygmy hippo, tapir, ozelot, fishing cat, gavial and those little monkey from pirates if the carribean. You can walk though a lot of those habitats via hanging bridges. There is even a boat tour. Really nice :)
the polar bears in rotterdam zoo have really little space. you can see on the behaviour of the animal that their really stressed. i don’t know if this is because of their habitat or just because the guests and noises. the outlook of the habitat is amazing tho! especially the underwater vieuwing points.
Love these videos and your builds! :) Are you having difficulty connecting to the servers in franchise mode? Ever since I downloaded the new pack and update I can't get into to franchise mode and when I play sandbox mode the game crashes. Are other people having these problems too?
Chris Disney I haven’t, and my internet is pretty bad. Could you try to reinstall the game? It may take a while, but otherwise maybe post it on the Frontier forums?
I just started franchise mode for the first time the day the DLC launched. The day the DLC launched everyone was having a problem with previous saved games but I believe has been fixed since. I know some areas are having issues with internet connections due to the high demand so maybe that's a problem with your internet provider?
Hey deladysigner look up I think the Houston zoo in Texas. They have a awesome polar bear habitat and you can walk around the zoo on Google earth. Just a suggestion check it out :)
@@DeLadysigner sorry I was mistaken its actually the sam deiego zoo, both amazing zoos here in the US but definitely definitely check out San deiego zoo i get alot of inspiration from both zoo, love the videos:)
Jaguar is my fav I got a black one on my frist time breeding them but it's siblings where normal one of my frost baby's was a black Jaguar it's parents where normal.
Hey delady, I know I'm pretty late for watching this but I'm subscribed to 140 youtubers and I play a ton of planet zoo so it's very hard to watch every single video, I love this dome and all the details you put into it. You've probably fixed this by now but you put the wrong species of tortoise in the dome. Also I'm Jewish and you forgot to mention the Jewish holiday of Passover. It makes me feel really left out when people talk about Easter and Christmas and not also talk about Passover and Chanukah, and also Kwanzaa even though I don't celebrate it (my friend does and he also feels left out). I have depression and this is a big part of what's causing it. I get bullied in school because of my religion, and when I tell the teachers about this problem they say just follow Jesus and you'll find a way which really doesn't help for obvious reasons. I love your vids and I really hope you've thought about this comment, you help my depression a lot and you inspired me to make my first two zoos, New seay land zoo (my starter zoo were I just built a simple habitat for every single animals, and the zoo that I'm working on now, forest zoo (a more detailed zoo with a ton of forest and rainforest animals).
Hello I like your videos and for a habitat (in the future) you could make it on a mauntain and has a water fall with a boat ride! Also i loveeee you build am impatient so this is like wow!! Another thing... can I react to your video(s) on my channel. Please reply Lady
I honestly haven't built any polar bear things in my zoos, seeing how ridiculously big of a space they need and there would be only 3-4 animals in there ... Just makes them unattractive to me sadly.
So inspired by your builds! They’re so detailed and well done. I’ve built a couple of zoos and each time they keep getting better but your builds are something I aspire to.
For the polar bears I stick with the sizing but I don’t stick with the plant requirements. I also like to have a bit of an underground cave. I’ve found it looks smaller if you don’t make the terrain flat, and it’s also a lot better if it’s long and thin! I have no idea if my habitats are great or not but I usually find these techniques work. Also I feel like your zoo could have a gorgeous clean white indoor area as well if you wanted!
Also regarding the enrichment items for the turtles, you can place enrichment items ontop of the leaf bedding, if you place the bedding after the item, I think? And maybe you shouldn't place the sprinkler right next to the eating area, lol. :P
Hey DeLady! I don't remember did i alredy asked you or did i wanted to ask you.... but could you try to make komodo dragon habitat? They are just super cool and beautiful.
Wow awesome build today I like how u put the tortoises with the ant eaters I think they went really well together! I love how graceful and delicate the ant eaters are when it comes to looking for termites, it’s so cute! 😎😎🤩🤩
In my Sandbox I've been sticking with the sizes the game wants, so the polar bears have a massive habitat plus a backstage building. It's twice as big as my elephants habitat, and that's big enough for 8 elephants! Still crazy IMO
St. Louis Zoos Ape Jungle Mountain has an awesome layout, and it houses Chimpanzees, Gorillas, and Orangutans. And the St. Louis zoo is the number one free attraction in America for a reason!
I can confirm that in England we have an Easter Sunday and an Easter Monday, but only one Christmas Day (not including Boxing Day here, we do have it though)
I don’t think the polar bear habitat has to be as big as the game requires because this zoo is supposed to be realistic and most zoos have smaller polar bear habitats. Or it could be a mix of indoor and outdoor habitat so it tricks the eye into not looking as big. Also there are no butterfly spawners in this game right because that would be so cool to have exotic butterflys throughout the dome
I do use the Polar Bear in Franchise mode, just built a huge habitat with a nice viewing point // look-out station for the guests, with some shops to compensate for the costs
I have so many complements normally planet zoo creations make you think “oh yeah, that’s cool” but you are so inspiring and bring a wow into my day I can imagine going to this zoo and the atmosphere :)
En dan duurt deze aflevering "Maar 25½ minuut".... Nog eigenlijk veel te kort... Zo veel liefde in die prachtige creaties van je! Ga zeker zo door lieverd ❤ ❤
I just love love love this dome. I love that it's heavily theme but it still looks so beautiful and all the plants. Oh it just looks so lush and lovely.
