Hello, lovely people, ♥ We are back, hurray ♥ My hand is doing much better atm, still have to take it easy and take a lot of breaks while building, but that's fine ☺ I didn't need any pain killers either today so I am very happy with that ♥ Will be trying to upload more videos again per week ♥ So hopefully, you are all ready for more DeLady content ♥ Thank you all so much for your patience! Love you guys! ♥ Much love, DeLady
This build is stunning. I have no idea how you can build something this beautiful! I think a desert franchise would be awsome- Maybe you could make it quite a modern theme? I would definitely submit some blueprints like I did in rudis :)
That would be so cool Reuben ♥ And I used a lot of Silv his video for this building of how he did this haha.. the beauty of speedbuild videos where you can see every step of some things haha, so defo props and credits to Silv in this case, cause I never earlier building something like this :) ♥
Uhh i love the feeling, when you're done making an architectional element for a building which is going to be a repeating asset to the building, like an archway or a window, and then you copy it around and in seconds you get this satisfaction of completion, because there is so much progress with so little effort. You know what i mean? The same with foliage work! Love the hallway and i'm excited to see the habitats in this great house :)
Yes I defo know what you mean ♥ Even tho the small segments did cost some time, it's very nice to be able to duplicate it later and get a full building as a results ♥ and I also really like the symmetry of these kinda buildings ☺ ♥ Thank you so much Flodschie ♥
What a great idea with turning the decoration wall piece around so you actually have a non grid small limestone piece. This building is so smart and good looking.
I love the tropical biome, but atm I'm watching Koali and Rudi's franchise together with a Zoo I'm building, so I'm kind of overloaded with tropical content. A desert biome would be interesting to see... Or maybe an Artic one? Wether one or the other, you should built indoor habitats for those animals that fancy the opposite temperature, but I'm excited about the new proyect!
Your work is so inspiring. I purchased Planet Zoo a month ago and am figuring things out as I go. Your videos (tutorials and beautiful builds) are amazing. Also really enjoying that you find inspiration in a lot of Dutch zoo's that I actually visited in real life haha. :)
@@DeLadysigner Ah, my error, I thought the poll you put out for the animals was for a brand new zoo you were putting together, I didn't realise it was a new area for the same zoo! Sorry about that! :)
Theres a few types of desert styles you can do because there is the American Desert with like Pueblos and then you can do African styles out side of egypt would be cool too. Look into some of the other cultures of the region. there is also Savannah.
planet zoo: yah you can build a reptile house. DeLadysigner be like: ok. and than she goes god mode. yes i am more than ready to some more DeLadysigner content!!
This build is giving me serious vibes of a place called Reptile Gardens in South Dakota (about 10 hours away from my Zoo actually). It's home to the largest collection of Reptiles in the world. They have a reptile house that looks a lot like this build of yours as well as an alligator pond (with alligator shows), and a petting area for aldabra tortoises (or at least I think that's what they were, it's been a couple years). As for the desert theme it would be a cool idea, but the game only has a couple habitat animals that like those kind of biomes irl: Gemsbok, Bactrian camel (ugh, sorry I keep bringing them up, I swear I don't even try), and I think pronghorn don't mind either. We really need more Australian animals, like kangaroos and emus. Desert biomes would be perfect for them
Haha yeah you are so right.. I forgot to mention.. I did a live stream a few days ago and we spoke about the biomes for a new Franchise series.. one of the reasons that also drags me more towards desert theme is because I feel we will be seeing Oceania pack next.. I might be completely wrong.. but for some reason I feel that must be the one next haha.. so even more reason to start the desert biome right 😄
I know you are hesitant about using the desert biome for a zoo, so i'm going to suggest a few things that may help you make a decision. You can "walk around" the Living Desert State Park and El Paso Zoo on Google maps, the Phoenix Zoo only has a satellite view and some guest photos, but i think you still can get a feel for it. For landscape inspiration, i would suggest you look at the deserts of Nevada, California and the Painted Desert in Arizona. And finally just keep in mind even though the planet pallet may be limited there are deserts all over the world, so you are not limited to Egyptian style pyramids. With enough water even a desert like L.A. can become a thriving green(ish), modern city.
Actually Pairi Daiza juist BUILT the entire land of the cold, not renovated it! they have increased the park size by over 10 hectares over a 2 year period, it's crazy! You should really go there once you are allowed to cross the border ;) I actually hope that Frontier will hold the community event for planet zoo there, who knows ;) Anyway, nice build! :D
Ooooh hihi omg, I misunderstood then hihi :) just saw a video uploaded today of the new area, really cool things, and awesome inspiration ♥ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iPEc0BZAV6o.html Not sure if Planet Zoo will arrange community meetups themselves :) They will be joining one or two I am arranging. Obviously, we had to put them all on hold now because of covid :) but will be fine, hopefully, next year ♥ We won't be going to Pairi Daiza tho.. It's a bit too far away for some of us Dutchies :( But hopefully, I am able to visit the zoo soon :) would be my first time ever :)
what an amazing building and its good to hear about your hand is doing better. Did you know that the rotterdam zoo had an amazing reptile collection that was housed in the riverahal an later in time moved to diverend locations in the park
But of course! You are one of the several talented Planet Zoo RU-vid’s I have been learning so many unique approaches to building in this game from. I constantly catch myself going “omg! That’s so clever!” While watching
I'm excited I finally joined your discord server! It's too bad I missed the voting, but your ideas sound fantastic & it will be great as long as you do what you like!
I started watching you old planet zoo videos and enjoyed them so been looking forward to see some more of your amazing designs since I can't play this game since i dont own a PC just a console
Hi Lady, what a wonderful episode again, I really love what you're doing with the reptile house! However, It seems a little bit weird to have a large safari zone in a European (I guess that is where you base the zoo on) city zoo. Maybe it is an idea to add a 'border' between the two parts of the zoo. Think about London Zoo with the highway, Berlin Zoo with water or Blijdorp with the railroads. And that the story behind it would be something like: here was an industry terrain/ open field and then the land was bought by the zoo for a large investment: an African safari zone. The other areas make a lot of sense of course, modern buildings because of new animal handbooks etc. But then again, the zoo is awesome in every way, looking forward to your franchise zoo as well!
Do you take breaks in between? The sped-up version looks like you have an insane concentration, it would take me 2 solid days to build what you just did.
I think I will be using a little bit inspiration of that, more like how they divided the areas, but it's not like a super exciting or interesting surroundings being in that safari lol.. the animals make it interesting in Beekse Bergen tbh :P
Hihi, I dont know if you thought that I streamed this yesterday :) But I already build this before the stream, I can't be that fast, hihihi :P I admit I am not that fast ☺
I really hope so ☺ Never planned of stopping the zoo, but just really didn't feel inspiration to continue :) but I might see if I can get back into it soon :) no promises tho haha ♥
Hey DeLadySigner, I went recently to Pairi Daiza, because I have a subscription for the parc and I took some pictures. Maybe I can send those to you, so you have some inspiration ? Good idea? Bye the way, again a nice video !
So sorry, but this is my least favorite build of yours 💕 I mean your building skill never fails, but the overall building is not for me, but that’s just my personal preference ❤️ I can’t wait to see the final enclosures of this build, and I hope you don’t take my comment negatively, but only as my personal preference 😋 Still love your channel and many of your builds, I find it so inspirational 😍
DeLadysigner I honestly don’t think I can pick just one😂 I absolutely love your domes and I love when you do multiple wiewing galleries, and the more open enclosures you’ve done with a lot of plants 😍🥰 I am so inspired by your building skills, and I can’t wait to play planet zoo myself, once my boyfriend gets a new computer😂
Oooh fingers crossed you can play soon yourself ❤ and hopefully you will like the Interiors more of the Reptile House 😘 Saltwater Crocodile will go up tomorrow ❤
We actually used the Zurich Zoo Elephants habitat as inspiration for these two builds in the past :) Inside of Zurich Zoo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Kfc1WGd5ALk.html Outside Zurich Zoo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zw3cL1g4114.html
I tried the desert biome once for a Nile/Egyptian themed zoo with ancient villages as shopping and staff areas and temples, shacks or natural cave systems as shelters for the animals. It was really interesting to work on, especially since the Indian set can be used very well in combination with the African set to achieve the desired effect.
A gigantic and beautiful built I have to say, it really looks nice and I like the architectural style of the building and I am excited to see how everything turn out ^^ The built looks like it has consumed a lot of time but it turned out really well. And it once again shows that when you work with others you get more ideas and techniques which can be used. I am really hyped to see what comes next and how everything will turn out, the Roadmap looked really promising ^^ So thanks for the video Lady and I see you in the next one :)
Oh yes, this is defo one of those builds where I really got a lot of inspiration of Mike and Silv ♥ It's so nice, cause it also opens more doors for myself of things you can do ♥ Glad to hear you like it, thank you so much Alcheck ♥
Hey Alex :) Frontier Developments doesn't support modding for the game and it's also against their Terms of Service using mods :) So I prefer not to use unsupported mods :)
Soooooo beautiful😍 I would really love to see a franchise zoo in the dessert bc ever since the south america DLC came out, we have seen so much tropical themes.
Oooh dont worry ♥ Im hoping to stream again on twitch next week (wednesday or thursday) ♥ Will let you guys know here (or join my discord server) to stay up to date with that :) love from the Netherlands ♥
I don't know what is wrong with me. I can't stop myself to fall asleep during your videos. Maybe because the music is so relaxing or because i really like your warm and friendly voice but at least i'm watching them twice. I'm waiting for the next video, i enjoy them so much. Keep doing your wonderfull work.
Haha well all I can say is... I ALWAYS fall asleep with RU-vid videos too :') Im glad that you enjoy them, even tho for you it means falling asleep too :P hehehehe ♥ Thank you so much Ash ☺ ♥
I love the built of the reptile house! Gorgeous work there :) Also, to refer to your question regarding the desert or tropical biome: I was one of those who argued for the desert biome, and I still feel like this should be something to give a chance. It's still possible play around with foliages and elevations a lot, so it doesn't need to be a plain, "boring" flat desert zoo. And there are so many animals which would fit well in there - most of the reptiles, most of the savannah animals, gemsbok, bactrian camel, even western animals like bison, pronghorn or wolf could fit in there. But just so you know, that's only a suggestion because it's something that has rarely been done before by RU-vidrs. Tropical is so much more popular for so many obvious reasons, and I also prefer to play in tropical because there are so many more options to work around that specific biome. No matter which biome you choose, I will definitely watch it, but I think there are some fair arguments to be made for desert too :D
Still don't feel that much inspiration of getting back to Inama Zoo :) but hopefully we will soon again :) It's not like I dont want to anymore :) The inspiration just isnt there atm :)
Pairi Daiza :) and I actually just found a video uploaded today (zoo opened again since a few days) of the new area incl. the new Polar Bear habitat ♥ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iPEc0BZAV6o.html
This is actually a pretty good point :) I didn't really think of that ride, but that one would actually fit nicely in our City Zoo too :) Thank you so much :)
The entrance looks a little bit line the aquarium /terrarium /reptile house in the Leipzig Zoo Well i think the replies moves mostly to the gonvana land section but it was used for reptiles in the past. Wait you know berlin zoo? So are you german? Or did you lived here gor a while.
Wow! Im in love with this building. When you put the animals in the cages this would be perfect. I love reptile houses, but lots of zoos are removing them for other things like playgrounds, such as Blijdorp in Rotterdam did (I dont know if you know That zoo its really Fun :))
Rotterdam Zoo is my favorite zoo actually 😆 its indeed a pity they made a playground in the revierra hall.. but obviously this was for the sake of the animals to move them to a better area 😊
You would know if you listen to the video ☺ Cause I explain exactly what we are doing, why I split the video up and what animals to expect after this video ☺
Congrats!! This build becames soooo beautiful 😍😍 With all these new glass panels it's perfect! And about the desert theme, I think will be awesome, I'm really very excited to see something like this that i never had saw in anywhere
You building a desert zoo would be really fun to watch! Maybe you should not take the realism too seriously in a desert zoo tho, since it can get really limiting, especially when it comes to water usage. Either way it will be really nice to see you start a new franchise mode zoo!
Absolutely! And no worries, there are more than enough Desert Styles you can go for. The desert is way more than just the same sand everywhere. It could be a "Rocky Mountains" Style, an "Aladin" Style, an "old Egypt" Style with a big River in the middle of the Zoo, etc. Lot's of possibilities to go for :)
Oh my God! This is sooooo beautiful 🤩🥰 Great work! Would you like to Upload some of your City Zoo Buildings into the workshop? That would be amazing 🤩 greetings and go in like this!
Thank you so much Amü142 ♥ I mostly upload things to the workshop when the whole zoo is finished, incl the zoo map itself of course :) Unfortunatly, most of the buildings are too big to blueprint incl. this big Reptile House building, it has too many pieces im afraid :(
finally !! Amazing build as always. Keep up the good work ! Also, would like to request hope you can slower down when you make those building/habitats. Haha would like to learn some from it.. And I would really appreciate you can start another franchise mode in near future !! It must be awesome to see you playing it and interact with those animals while making those amazing building and habitats for the zoo !! 💪
Thank you so much Joe Tan ♥ Im afraid I won't be slowing down the videos ☺ It's the whole point of speed builds ☺ But obviously feel free to join my Twitch streams once in a while or follow my Twitch Streams Archive channel to see slow mode builds to be able to follow ☺ru-vid.com/show-UCmfocJBKbLU1LjtNL8WU5aw
