I've actually been wanting to go down and check out the older buses in the west midlands before they are retired. I believe you guys have gotten new electric buses today in service so the old ones would probably be retired soon

@glitchFan2428 our "new" electric BYD double-deckers have been waiting for over a year to enter service because they have refueling problems in other words not enough re-charging facilities at a particular depot to get 150 or more of these vehicles on the road. Manchester seems not to have a problem with this. In 2020 Walsall depot received 20 Streetdeck double-deckers. They have been withdrawn FIVE times since then, and all 20 NEVER ran on any one day during that time. They are off the,road altogether now, empty, still and unused. That is a scandal. The Yellow Bee buses are the way to go in Manchester obviously. It is a success. It is a pity National Expresses incompetence can't do the same!

@glitchFan2428 at least 50 of National Express "new" BYD double-deckers have had to change their registrations from last year's '73' to now '24' registration plates because they have been waiting for,so many months to enter passenger service, so by the time they actually do run, they are in fact over a,year old already! They have been designated "in preperation" for several months. These "new" buses should have been on the roads 4 weeks ago. Can we have your planning officer, please down here in the West Midlands. We bus enthusiasts want to see what you in Manchester are seeing...new public vehicles!

Not to mention that during the winter months the road filth shows up on its sides clear as day :(
