That sort of weapon (Frozen Northern Pike) is immersion breaking for me, it's just stupid, not funny, not good for the game. I don't want the game to be super serious ffs, but I don't want to descend into idiocy either, which is the Frozen Pike. Yeah, fantasy nonsense games like OH can have immersion breaking elements, the Pike is jumping the shark in this video game for me, it's just not good for the game.

That's fair. Just stick with normal weapons , good idea. Thou melee weapons wouldn't be used much in modern warfare, so really no need for them.

This game has busses that walk around like spiders, enemies that have briefcases and light fixtures for heads, and a talking bird that u glide with. What about this game has any "immersion???" Look at the cosmetics too, the only thing the devs make money on. You can try and lotto a flaming bike for a cosmetic... like ???

this game is anything but realistic or immersive, there are plenty of simulation games available across the market if that is your thing dont ruin the few funny easter eggs available in this game the bp is available in a remote place and less than one percent of all players will bother to get it so quit yapping
