Hi! I'm new in crochet and I'm currently so confused with making the head. After every slip stitch and chain, should I still start the single crochet in the same stitch I did the slip stitch?
Your tutorials are always so cute! Thank you for writing the pattern on the video as well because it helps out a lot especially because sometimes the English subtitles are really wonky. I also started to do my magic circles like you because your method is so simple!

For a few months now, I've been ruthlessly avoiding acrylic yarn. But your tutorials reminded me of how great it can be, your patterns are very adorable and they have really boosted my motivation. I made the turtle pouches for my baby shower mini game prizes. Thanks for sharing this!!!
so this pattern uses acrylic and you find it works well? i wasn’t sure if it was mercerized cotton or acrylic (i skip through videos quite a bit and transcribe the patterns down in my notebook to make it easier) but i was worried my acrylic wouldn’t be strong enough and my regular cotton was leaving big holes in the first few rows of the magic circle. i’ll definitely be trying one tonight with the acrylic now!

Love the concept but I'm struggling at the moment. The slip stitch and chain one make a very visible line in my turtle head. Could be because of the fact that I don't understand where the chain one goes. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? 🤗

AAAAA i saw this and screamed out of cuteness, making one NOW!! also, the difference in language is odd but I still understood every instruction, it's cool to hear different names for all the stitches and techniques.

Eine wunderschöne Arbeit. Wir haben in Deutschland Pfingsten. Das heißt ganz viel Zeit zum Handarbeiten. Danke für die Anleitung. Hab es mir auf deutsch übersetzen lassen. Aber die Angaben oben links sind auch ganz toll so sieht man wieviel Maschen man häkeln muss. Hab auch schon einige Anleitungen in englisch nachgemacht und kenne dadurch die Abkürzungen.
