Cape Kidnappers is a gannet reserve and a fascinating geological area in the Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand. We join Gannet Beach Adventures for their Cape Kidnappers gannet safari tractor tour! Absolutely awesome! I am a New Zealander but I had never heard of or seen this colony of Gannets. We have a land colony in Auckland that can be easily accessed and one of the "must do's" in Auckland. Thank you for this. Love to go. I think this is one of your best videos so far. The long shots of the birds are magnificent.

Can i go on foot from Clifton? Is it far from there?

You can walk from Clifton, this is where our trip started but you will need to time your trip well not to be caught by the tide. From memory the walk is around 5h return (About 19km).

My nan and pop's and run the camp that you would have gone past and we went on the tractors because we got a free ticket from Colin is One of of his friends and he is amazing
