Same here. And these are what Aussie bush birds sound like. There are differences regionally in the birds but I recognize some of these birds. I’m not versed enough in regional birds to know if the species in this sound track are found together or if it’s an amalgamation but I’m homesick for the sound of the Australian bush so I’ll take it at face value; finding it peaceful and calming in these times. 🥰.
Currently living in NZ for 9 years, wanting to move home to QLD, but COVID is preventing us moving home right now. Listening to this is curbing my home sickness. Hope to make it back to Australia soon.
I hope you made it home! I've been holidaying in Cairns from Canberra and this ambience makes me feel like I haven't had to go home to our cold climate 😁
Thanks for this video! My budgies and canaries love listening to it when l have to go out, and they are left alone inside all day. They usually get to go outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of the garden, but when that's not possible, they sing their hearts out to this video. Especially in winter when it's raining outside.
Currently, self isolating at home because of Corvid-19. I've been playing this video on my tablet--letting is sit open like a window. It has lifted the mood of the whole house. The cats are very curious about the birds.
Nice! Think I’ll join you. I MISS the sounds of Australia. Even in the city you can hear Australian birds singing. OMG, what music. There are birds where I now live and they will sing, but one at a time and not all of those magical sounds from different birds together. Nowhere like Australia to hear the sounds of nature.
Very good ambience. It’s free of the headache inducing levels of birds that most of these other ambience videos have. Truly gives the impression of open space.
I’ve planted some ferns and a tree fern like the one here on the right in my little courtyard. Tiny free standing pond too (I rent so no digging it in). I play these sounds and lay there outside on a hammock and I’m a thousand miles away!
Living in Tasmania I miss the sound of the mainland birds. It is very comforting for this ex-Qlder to hear the familiar and deeply loved bird sounds. At first I thought the scene was from Tassie. But the birds give it away as not being from there.
If only I had the opportunity to hear these beautiful birds in my backyard( but I'd have to move thousands of kms and into a rainforest to do so)..unfortunately in suburban Perth all I get is Ravens which love to drown out all else ...I do get doves sometimes (of course) and 28's and the occasional willy wag tail which I adore 🇦🇺❣🇦🇺❣
I tent to dislike things (I might actually like) so yt's algorithm won't stalk me with similar video's for a loooong long time. I did not dislike this video though :)
North Queensland, I wonder. Sounds familiar. I'll be asleep pretty quickly. Reminds me of this secret place in the rain forest I discovered one day a very long time ago. With a little crick that had no more than a garden hose worth of water running through it. And a pool not much bigger than a bathtub, completely hidden from view under the foliage. Around the sides of the pool were rotten logs, absolutely infested with little black scorpions. Luminescent blue butterflies flew by. Was so careful putting my clothes back on I can tell you, on account of those scorpions. Not thirty feet from the pool the little crick broke into the open and straight over a precipice. It was so cool, such a relief from the heat under the forest canopy, lying there in natures bathtub. Not a solitary soul in miles.
Looks like some of the places near Queens Mary Falls at Killarney down closer to the NSW border. But yeah it could be anywhere from about mid NSW up to the tip. No idea if it could be over in WA, those guys are weird. :)
As a proud Palawa (Trowerna aka Tasmanian Indigenous) woman I am delighted to hear thee comments as the majority here, fail to recognize the increasing rates of extinction/Genocide of the original's
I love this so much, I instantly want to materialise right in this very location! How does one record to a video camera for 6 hours and not be interrupted? The HDD of the video recorder has massive storage capacity for this length of recording?
jungle??? hahah ah well beautiful work, thankyou where abouts in australia is this? Tassy? The birds sound a little like the local qld birds around my parents house
From what I can see I would assume it’s an Australian rainforest, so Queensland. Probably Cairns. Although this sort of forest is pretty akin to the bush surrounding the creek near where I live too, in Sydney.
@@gergs988 There’s a micro climate in Tasmania that’s like a Twilight Zone experience. You’d swear you were in Queensland. Tree ferns everywhere. I don’t know the birds from either area so no clue where it is except not near where I grew up n spent time in the bush between Nowra & Newcastle. I recognize some, but not all of the bird calls and some are missing.
