❤️❤️❤️ Free written pattern available on Ko-fi, don't forget to follow, so you don't miss any future patterns I release : Ko-fi.com/miconmickey ❤️❤️❤️ 3.0 mm crochet hook | 5-ply cotton yarn ❗️Please note that this video requires basic crochet skills such as slip knot, chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch.
This is one of the best crochet tutorial I have ever seen. It is very clear when you use a bigger yarn to show the stitches and mark what stitches should be inserted. Because I’m always confused over these step and your tutorial helps me a lot. Please keep going 😊🎉
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! I also used to struggle a lot with these things when I was still a beginner, so I wanted the explanations could help. I'm glad it's working and helping you! And yes, Mr.Big yarn will make more appearances in the future!😊😊😊 It's such a joy to know that I could contribute to your crochet journey.Let's Keep up the fantastic work!
I'm only a few minutes in and I'm already impressed by your tutorial!! I like that you use real items for measurement instead of a set number of chains/length and the biggest thing i struggle with as a beginner is distinguishing which one is the first or second chain or holes i need to crochet into!! Im so glad you showed it! ❤
I love this! Such a great detailed explanation of making the pouch! I am a beginner and I was always so confused where the last stitch is and felt a bit bummed but now I feel more motivated to finish making a pouch. You’re a great teacher and so talented! Ty for making this video! Please keep it up!
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.

I love love love this video. I wanted to buy a mini bag to put my essentials (lipsticks, mini mirror, etc) but still not found any that good enough. Then I searched on youtube how to make one and saw your video. Super cute, super easy to make. Thank you sooooo much
You are the best crochet teacher ever. After many years of crochet, I finally understand how the rounds to make a pouch work. That’s always been a mystery to me. Thank you so much. Subscribed 💜
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I got a bit confused when you switched to the beginner tutorial but overall it was great and has such a nice aesthetic :>
this is the BEST crochet tutorial i've seen!! the way you explain it so clearly is amazing. the written pattern and even the fact you did math to calculate the pattern to make it more diverse in size is so cool. so much respect for the effort you put into this tutorial. i'm looking forward to more tutorials like this.
hi. this tutorial is super easy and I love ur work but can u or someone explain how u got the other half of the pouch?? cuz after round 2 there is not explanation. thanks
I must be a special kind of an idiot but I got to second row and then you lost me completely. Went from a wormy-dealie to an almost finished pouch and I have no idea where I just can't figure out what I have to do next xD
I got lost at the 30 dc part because i just did 1 dc in each stitch until i reached the stitch marker but it didnt turn into a bag like yours, it was just a rectangle with a corner. Can you please explain how to do this step please? ( 7:10 )
This tut only helped me with a string part. When I tried to do the pouch it came out being bigger and bigger with each round I did (I DID NOT do increases each round) so I just crocheted two really cute granny squares, sewed them together, crocheted one round of dc and the curvy thing, added string and that's it. Without any extra things that this tutorial showed me. I'm lucky that I'm not a beginner in crocheting, cuz if I would be, I wouldn't know how to fix the problem.
im having the same problem tho 😭😭 it just became so big, im a beginner but not like super beginner, i was thinking about still kind of sewing it together even tho one side is big and other is small, it could work so i think ill do that
Thank u so much....I am new to crochet and this video realy helped me so much....this is one of the best tutorials I've ever watched....thank u so much Mico & Mickey❤❤❤😊
Wow, thank you for your wonderful comment! I'm delighted that the video has been beneficial to you, especially as someone new to crochet. It's incredibly rewarding to know that my tutorial has helped you on your crochet journey. Mico and Mickey are thrilled to be a part of it too!💗💗
Thanks for your feedback! The orange part is all about showing that the chain has two sides. First, we crochet on one side and then add 3 DC stitches in the last stitch. After that, we switch to the other side of the chain and start crocheting n-4 DC stitches. I hope this explanation makes it easier for you to understand.
thank you for the tutorial! For some reason the pouch keeps getting smaller after each round, may i know are you supposed to start the double crochet into the same stitch you did the slip stitch? Or just do the double crochet on the second stitch after the slip stitch?
does regular acrylic yarn work for this :( its all I have and idk how to accomdate if the size doesnt come out the same because of the yarn thickness T-T pls help
I'm here! The pouch size can be easily adjusted to your preference, regardless of the type of yarn. Start by crocheting the bottom chain to your desired size, remembering that the number of chains is N. Then, use the formula from the video to determine the number of stitches needed for each step, based on your specific value of N.
Woohoo! You're the icing on the cake as my 1000th follower! 🎉 Thanks a ton for the love and support! Your appreciation for my videos puts a big smile on my face. Stay tuned for more cute tutorials 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Hello i love the tutorial. ♡ I'm making this cat pouch for my friend and I'm wondering how many rows will im supposed to do after row 2? You didn't say how many rows to do, you only skipped after finishing the bag (TT) plz help >.
Hello! I got a bit confused on the last part where I can do another drawstring by repeating the same process. Am I going to make another chain of stitches (so I have 2 separate drawstring) or just continue doing it onto the 1st drawstring? TIA for answering!
I'm here! The second drawstring doesn't need to be connected to the first one . It can be done in the same way as the first one, just in the opposite direction. One little ball is on the left side, and the other one is on the right side.
First of all thank you for your tutorial I loved it, second of all when did you turn the pouch inside out?? Because the yarn tails in 7:30 is outside but suddenly in 8:14 it’s inside the pouch.
Thanks SO much for the love!! Sorry for the late reply. Actually, after tucking the tail in at 2:53, the tail stays inside the whole time. If you take another look, you'll see the tail is still inside at 7:23 too. Hope this could help you❤️
hello, can you help me? i got confused in the part where you finished the 30th stitch bc on yours, you have 3 stitches (1 slip chain and 2 chain) left before the first stitches. but on mine, after i finished the 30 stitches, I only got 2 stitches left before the first stitch which are the 2 chains. i cant figure out where did i make a mistake.
At the beginning of each round, the first dc after chaining 2 should be worked into the slip stitch from the previous round. It's possible that you started from the next stitch, which would result in one stitch being skipped.
Apologies if I skipped over some basic crochet techniques like chain and double crochet in the video, causing you to feel that I spoke too quickly. I'm afraid explaining them in every video might be too tedious for those who are already familiar with them. However, I am actually considering creating a series of videos on basic crochet techniques, where each stitch corresponds to a small project. This way, beginners can have a reference guide. Thank you for your feedback!
I followed the tutorials, yet my work doesn't look like what is shown. Instead of looking like a rectangle with corner, mine keeps looking like a long oblong 😢😢😢
Hi,may i know for second round, i do 1 dc in each stitch, so i do 30 DC (my N is the same as yours), so my last stitch is my 30th stitch correct? but why did u say the last stitch is the 4th counting back from the first stitch? isn't there only 30 stitches from the 1st round ? i'm kinda confused 😞😞 another question, what happens after the last stitch from 2nd round? do i do a slip stitch then chain 2? do i start round 3 1st dc in the same hole as slip stitch? i dont really know how to connect round 2 to round 3. please help T_T
Thanks for watching! I used a 3mm crochet hook and 5-ply milk cotton yarn for this project. Give it a try and have fun crocheting! Let me know if you have any more questions. Enjoy!
Your little sister is so lucky! I believe she will definitely be happy 😃. I used a 3mm crochet hook and 5-ply cotton yarn. A pouch about the size of AirPods used about 30g of yarn.
