I'm halfway through reading Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking and I am LOVING IT! I've read several Cozy Fantasy books with Pride rep in them for the past year and a half and I'm STILL craving more

I think that you would like the series "Elven Alliance" by Tara Grayce, "King Arthur and Her Knights" by K.M. Shea, and "Waters of Time" by Jody Hedlund. All clean, with no swearing and are closed door. I've honestly liked pretty much everything by K. M. Shea, but most of her other works are either Urban Fantasy or Fairy Tale retellings. If you like either of those genres, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! I also really enjoyed "The Elves of Eldarlan" by Elisa Rae, "The Queen's Rising" by Rebecca Ross, and "The Riders of Fire" by Eileen Mueller. Some of the series are pretty hard to find in physical copy though. I read all but the "Waters of Time" and "The Queen's Rising" series through Kindle Unlimited.

I think you'll love Cities of Smoke and Starlight by Alli Earnest. It's sci-fi fantasy with a really interesting and unique world

Great recommendations! I am looking forward to trying out several! I agree with all you said about The Light Between Worlds. I really liked that book and thought it did a good job tackling tough topics and interweaving the fantasy world. Also loved Wizards guide to defensive baking and Warbreaker is one of my favorite Sanderson books too!

I started reading last year so i never really heard about Brandon Sanderson until a few months ago when @thebookbunch mentioned tress of the emerald sea and then this month I grab it for at Barnes and noble. Then when in a spiral on TikTok to see if i could actually read it before reading anything else in the cosmere and within this month alone I’ve seen at least 3 of the Christian booktubers that I follow talk about tress of the emerald sea.

Sanderson is the king of fantasy these days, I've read almost all of his books and have enjoyed them all!

Thanks for the recommendations! Spellmaker and spellbreaker were very quick and fun reads!! It’s a Victorian, fantasy, magic system, clean duology. I might have already recommended these but I cant remember!

So many interesting sounding stories , Chantel! I recommend Pivot Point by Kasie West. A little more science-fic/YA-ish, but intriguing! Secret group of “enhanced” people living in USA, MC has to choose between divorcing parents. Stay back with her mom in special place, or hide her clairvoyant powers in the normal world with her dad! It’s a duology and I haven’t read the second yet, but I want to. ♥️

There are a lot of books on this list that I need to catch up on. I really think you might like Daughter of the Sun by Amanda Auler. It’s the first book in a trilogy and I really enjoyed it. I plan to read book 2 soon, hopefully 😊

If I end up not liking Tress, I'll send you my copy. It's a GORGEOUS copy so... there's that. Saints and Monsters. That sounds interesting! You keep talking about Defensive Baking so maybe it's time for me to get it. Light Between Worlds. I bought it because of you. And now (because of you again), I need to grab it off my shelf (I was saving for December... maybe not). Okay... Crimson Cranes. Every time you talk about it, I like the sound of it more. Eeep! House of Salt and Sorrows. Sounds good, cover is gorgeous, and what a cool title name! Thanks for being an amazing enabler!

Well, now I'm torn, I simultaneously want you to love and hate Tress . . . Light Between Worlds is set in winter so if you want to read it then it's totally understandable.
