That was very beautiful and moving. Animals are the best. When my dog is at the groomers for just a couple of hours my house feels empty. They say animals give you the best days of your life and then one day that is the worst day of your life. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Beth ♥♥ Oh gosh you are so right...when that one day comes, it's devastating. But the time we had together is so special isn't it? I know what you mean...I don't bring the dogs to get groomed, but when I have to go out shopping, boy do I miss them so much! I always get such a loving and excited welcome when I come home!! ♥♥

Thanks Ang! ♥ It wasn't easy to put that together, as I told you, it was a teary-eyed endeavor, but I'm so glad I did. I loved all of those babies so much, the ones who've passed...and the ones who are still with me are spoiled!!! Maybe rotten lol! ♥ I miss Charlie so much though...♥

This is such a beautiful video. I'm 73 years old now and lost my last dog Buddy back on March 29, 2021. I still have black and white pictures of my childhood collie dog Lady and would love to have a video like this made of all the pets that I was blessed to have known during my life. My life would of been so much more boring without them in my life. I cry everyday missing my dog Buddy. He was a big part of my life. He was a mistake that gave me purpose and became my best friend and companion. He was my unofficial therapy dog and I miss him daily. Losing them is so heartbreaking. My sincere condolences.

Robert, I'm so sorry you lost your Buddy. Yes, I do know that heartbreak...it seems so unfair. They live such short lives and bring us so much. I remember our first dog when I was 6 (?) years old, she was a collie too, her name was Ginger! I wish I had photos of her! I will tell you, that when I burned out, my two pugs gave me a reason to live. They are truly special. Thank you so much for your comment! ♥

@@spiritualrainfrances Thanks for responding. What you say about dogs is so true! That is pretty ironic that your family too had a collie when you were young. When I was young in the 1950s there was a tv series out called "lassie" which I used to watch all the time. That show probably influenced my parents to get a collie. She was a smart dog. I will change my account picture so you can see what she looked like.

Your childhood dog is very sweet. I'm sure Lassie influenced a lot of folks to get collies! I remember a former landlord getting a Dalmatian when the 101 Dalmatians movie came out, sigh...my dogs are all shelter dogs!!!

They are all your guarding angles now, and you will meet them again, face to face in Elysian Fields: individuality is not all the truth, the truth is that we are living in a living planet, Gaia, and dogs play a special role as true shepherds of empathy beetween dofferent species, not only human and dogs/wolves. They are sacred to Pan, the goddes of rusticity and empathy beetween self aware creatures. An italian commedian, Totoò, once said that dogs are creatures in between angels and children.
