Informative...appreciate the effort. Just in case it would be useful, you can add the wallmount/Table top paramter too because some may not have the option of wall mount especially in rented houses. Hats off for the video and thank you
In your previous video of ro purifier list, you told ao smith z8 has problem after filling full tank only it will disperse hot water. Is this changed in ao smith z8 model now or in z9 model ? Or it is same now also.
How abt for tds level of 570? Currently my aquaguard total enhance water has a tds level of 43. Thats too low right? Do i need to get a model with tds controller? Also, how good is Urbanelements water purifier by urban company?
@TheGrapevineIndia hi saumya, can u suggest which purifier i should go for, as my water tds is between 230 to 250 but right now am getting Corporation water, borewell in my place is sour , some times it may also even get mixed up , at tat point tds will be high, as per yr suggestion is to go for nano water purifier 1. As they were not reputed brands am worry about their quality and service and longevity 2. Is it possible to buy an uv uf purifier and attach an nano filter 3. Or should i wait for some more time to get launched by the reputed brands , pour yr suggestions its a urgent requirement for me
Hi, Could you please confirm Kent Ace Alkaline (Flipkart) is Same as Kent Supreme Alkaline (Amazon). I couldn't find the supreme model in flipkart but Ace as same spec as u told in the video. I have searched even in kent website, couldn't find the difference..
Informative! I go by the traditional boil & filter way but where only hard water available, people have no option. Still, these devices carry considerable running costs.

Great. So here is the dilemma. I have an RO from Whirlpool. About 12 years old. Works just fine, but Whirlpool doesn’t support it anymore (No AMC available. I also think AMC is a scam, but that’s a different issue). Now I am setting up a new place and wonder if I should continue using the same RO or buy a new one. I have been able to get the spares like filter etc separately without a hassle. So does it make sense to buy a new RO or use the existing one until it breaks down? Also, you seem to have missed some big brands like LG etc which have a number of RO water purifiers.
Hi Vishal, thanks for sharing. Yes, LG I've included in the stainless steel water purifiers comparison. My rule of thumb on old vs new is - if it has gone beyond it's half life (which in case of water purifiers is around 10-12 years) and you are getting significant maintenance costs, it would make sense to buy a new one. If your only maintenance is RO filters, then you can continue with the existing one.
Hey Saumya, there was a law that i heard that is being worked on by NGT to be passed in areas where less than 500TDS water is being supplied primarily because RO purifiers waste water immensely.
Yeah, Bureau of Indian statistics claims that upto 500 ppm - ro is not required. But UV/UF only supports upto 200ppm. So between 200-500 is a grey area - now nano water purifiers fulfil that gap for sure.
Heyy i am in a confusion HUL pure it copper or AO Smith z8 or z9... Some channel gave HUL no 1 I am confused..some people say purifiers with hot water is ineffective is it true..
Don't buy from V Guard. They promise one thing when you buy, but when you need warranty help, they won't respond, leaving you feeling helpless, even after following up for the past 10 days since lodging a complaint with them.
Don't buy vguard water purifier they don't have proper channel partner for servicing. For every visit they will charge, They will force to add one year maintenance plan which cost you around 3500. Even if you don't avail it they will charge you heavily for each filter change.
