Trailsport Trim
2024 Ridgeline features updated styling and an enhanced cabin experience with more standard technology and improved storage
New Ridgeline TrailSport takes rugged, off-road capability to new level with off-road tuned suspension, all-terrain tires and steel underbody protection
Starting MSRP of $39,7501 for exceptionally well-equipped Ridgeline Sport
Rugged and refreshed, the 2024 Honda Ridgeline lineup begins arriving at dealerships today, including the first-ever Ridgeline TrailSport- the most off-road capable Ridgeline ever. Engineered to get weekend adventurers even further off the beaten path, the new Ridgeline TrailSport features special off-road hardware, including an off-road-tuned suspension, trail-ready all-terrain tires and steel underbody protection.
The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is available in four all-wheel drive trim levels: Sport, RTL, the new TrailSport and the top-of-the-range Black Edition. Beginning with the Ridgeline Sport, manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) starts at $39,7501 (excluding a $1,375 destination charge). The new 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport starts at $44,9801.

Exceptionally Well-Equipped
Designed and developed in the U.S., the refreshed 2024 Ridgeline lineup comes standard with a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine, 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and award-winning torque-vectoring i-VTM4® all-wheel drive. Standard four-mode Intelligent Traction Management allows drivers to customize the i-VTM4® system for different terrains, including sand, snow, mud and paved roads.
Now standard inside the cabin are a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, along with a new, larger 9-inch color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and a faster processor for lag-free performance. Ridgeline's integrated navigation system has been simplified with new graphics and fewer menus.
For additional comfort and functionality, all 2024 Ridgelines also benefit from a new center console with a large, newly-integrated armrest and expanded storage. The center-console storage bin can now swallow a full-size tablet, and an improved storage tray ahead of the shifter is large enough to accommodate two smartphones, side by side. Ridgeline's Dual-Action Tailgate and In-Bed Trunk® continue as standard on all models.
Ridgeline can be customized with several post-production option packages, including the popular HPD Package. Designed to evoke Honda's racing DNA, the HPD Package adds to Ridgeline's rugged appearance with a unique grille treatment, aggressive HPD 18-in alloy wheels and all-terrain tires, and black lug nuts. The HPD+ package adds black fender flares and an oil pan protector.
New Ridgeline TrailSport
For the 2024 model year, the first-ever Ridgeline TrailSport brings even more off-road capability to the Ridgeline lineup. Exclusive rugged hardware includes a new off-road tuned suspension that improves articulation and off-road ride quality without sacrificing Ridgeline's exceptional on-road comfort and best-in-class handling.
The TrailSport also adds a steel underbody protection that shields its oil pan from sharp rocks and other off-road hazards, as well as Ridgeline's first-ever application of all-terrain tires which take its rugged capabilities even further. Standard General Grabber™ A/T Sport tires (245/60R18), mounted on new Pewter 18-inch wheels, substantially improve TrailSport's traction in dirt, sand, mud, rocky terrain and snow, but remain quiet and comfortable on the road.
Exclusive to Honda TrailSport models, a new available Diffused Sky Blue paint color, which debuted on the all-new 2023 Pilot TrailSport, highlights Ridgeline's rugged design. The TrailSport's cabin stands out with orange contrast stitching on the steering wheel, door panels and seats, with the TrailSport logo embroidered on the front seat head restraints and molded onto its standard all-season rubber floor mats.

Its a solid truck that 90% of daily drivers need. I use my Ridgeline as a truck 4 days a week and its everything I need!

I feel like it's overkill for me. I like it, but I feel wasteful driving a truck that will never go offroad or haul very much. Oh well....I own it.

We got one for my Mom 3 years ago and I love it. The way the truck bed door swings out and the storage are awesome and keeps weight low. I plan on getting one myself.

Excellent review, with a level of depth, detail, and professionalism you just don’t see everyday. Last year, I chose to go with a ‘23 Ridgeline B/E for our new business vehicle and couldn’t be happier with it. It’s a ‘jack of all trades’ pickup truck. Keep up the great work

After much research I ended up getting a 23 Ridgeline RTL at a decent price below MSRP. I never considered a Honda before. Now into a year of ownership I have no regrets, perfect vehicle for my needs and I'm also averaging 22 - 24 MPG with the V6.

I've owned over 25 new cars over the years of all makes and models (including trucks). I've never owned a Honda although I've tried to purchase one several times over the years. Between the dealers adding huge markups and loading them down with accessories that I didn't want, I never went through with a purchase.

Just say May sales numbers for the 2024 Ridgeline - only 1712 sold! Normal months were around 3700-5000. Maverick, Ranger, Colorado, Tacoma are eating Ridgeline's lunch. I am a fan of the Ridgeline and hate to see market support collapse 66%. Price increases haven't helped it either. If Honda doesn't find a way to turn this around, I don't know how much longer they will build them.

Thanks so much for sharing this review That's a very good back seat setup, flip up and latch, without any clumsy strap Toyota Hilux's back seat isn't as user friendly, quite the opposite. I think it's similar to the tacoma's back seat mechanism. with straps and buttons, not very secure , and impossible to flip up and lock/latch single-handedly 😔 Hilux's back seat is even worse than Tacoma's, the back rest doesn't flip down so the space behind it isn't accessible. It's a very lazy (or dumb?) design

I have a 21 tundra pro. And I’m considering trading for one. Hurt my knee the tundra sets up to high on those days my knee is really acting up. I had an 07 for a year then traded it. Jeep thing lol. I’m waiting and hoping they do a trail sport like the pilot next year. I think it’s the perfect overall truck.

I have a 24 BE Sonic Grey and its a good truck no doubt.. the engine, ride comfort , its quiet, interior space , awd system, dual action tail gate, in bed trunk all good things BUT at an MSRP of 48,200 for black edition sonic gray they really half ass it on some options that are like budget minded features.. i feel other trucks/suv execute these way better.. Adaptive cruise is not stop and go it wont work below 25 mph. blind spot monitoring does not work below 20mph so you better be careful on your slow merges.. there are no front center parking sensors, they are only in the front corners so antyhing more centered it wont detect.. it wont detect a parking pole and in my case i have a tandem parking spot and it wont detect my other car when i pull up to it yes seriously.. the vented seats are too weak even on high feel like its barley working.. the vented seats in my grand cherokee work way better.. why no 360 or front cam option? also only way to turn on reverse cam is the truck must be in reverse.. why no quick look view so i can quick check that all is good in my tow hitch setup .. why no hill descent control? its in a crv but not a ridgeline ,, why? and finally the bed is pretty shallow if you put a tonneau cover on you only have 16 inches of height which is really restrictive in useability. hoping the next gen ridgeline has better execution on its options/features..

The title said, "2024 Honda Ridgeline -- OWNER perspective review". This was really no opinions of someone that has owned this truck for any length of time, which is the exact review I was looking for. This was nothing more than any of the 100's of other reviews where you just go over features/improvement/a couple flaws. I mean, it was a decent review I guess, but certain did not offer the "owners perspective" that I was looking for.

Agree with Schweit10. You’re not 100% transparent with your title. Just questions your credibility. You could have titled the video more accurately or at least started the video stating you’re a prior model year owner and this is a 2024 review. I won’t be following you.
@MikesCarInfo
@MikesCarInfo Месяц назад
@@ellbee6705 The only difference its cosmetic. More experience is better than less experience. If I bought a 2024 truck and drove it for a month, then made a video, do you think that would be more useful to you? Think about it.
@ellbee6705
@ellbee6705 Месяц назад
@@MikesCarInfo Ya I did think about it. Your title is misleading. 2024’s have been available in my area for almost 7 months now, so it’s possible for someone to drive one for 4-5000 miles and provide some insight, but instead you have some demo unit with 3000 or so miles that you’re doing a video on. I’ve got a 2002 GMC Sierra that I’ve had since new but that doesn’t mean I should make a video on a 2024 model and title it owner perspective review whether it’s just cosmetic changes or not. I still agree with @shweit10 and think you could’ve worded the title more appropriately. Further you have 200k subscribers, you don’t need me. If you’re so concerned why a couple of people watched your video, questioned you on it, and you don’t like that, then why don’t you do a follow up video and ask your subscribers to vote on whether you could’ve titled it better.
@MikesCarInfo
@MikesCarInfo Месяц назад
@@ellbee6705 This isn't my first Ridgeline video lol . My subscribers are well aware of my experience with Ridgelines since 2017. My videos cover way more than the average owner even knows.
