Thank you for this teaching. Thank you Jesus. Dear Jesus please help me with the fear and worry I am dealing with. I know I will make it through this hard time with your guidance. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic and non verbal. I’m so overwhelmed at times. My husband passed away years ago. So I’m all alone. I have no family to lean on. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing but not make nearly enough. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing our home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. HE HAS THIS FAR! I have been put down mocked and harassed even accused of lying. These are all tricks from the enemy. I’m already ashamed and embarrassed over my situation. I don’t want anything but prayers. Please pray for me.

Jesus not only died for us - He died and went to hell for us. This is absolute and complete authority over death, hell, and the grave. When Jesus said "It is finished" He absolutely meant it. He saved us. He justified us. He glorified us. It is the free gift of God. Praise God!

My former pastor in Detroit, Bishop Keith butler recently told his church " It wasn't enough for Jesus to die on the cross, he had to do more " , Butler erroneously preaches that Satan snatched Jesus soul off the cross and took him straight to hell to be beaten and tortured, humiliated and mocked by the devil and demons .Butler wrongly thinks Jesus paid for our sins in hell not on the cross. This is false doctrine and needs to be repudiated!!!

That's the music. I wish this video was without background music. I don't need my feelings to be manipulated by music when listening to something so sincere. I just want to hear Derek Prince in all sobriety and clarity. God's word doesn't need to be helped to take effect in its listeners. Just my personal opinion.

God did not reveal to us what Christ did after he was 12 yo up to 30 yo. We only know that he went with his mother and Joseph and submitted to them after the temple incident. There are some Mysteries of God that we just don't know.. but just imagine when John the Baptist was preaching and preparing the way of the Lord, Jesus was there just waiting knowing that it is Him!! Lol Maybe His neighbors even came to Him and was telling Him about the Anointed One to come to save mankind! It's a rather beautiful story! Praise the Lord God!!!

Excellet interpretations! I think you're right. In Ephesians 4:9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? The parables of the rich man and Lazarus also states that Abraham was in hades waiting for Jesus.

Yes...nobody can answer this one. One thing we do know is that he went to paradise, with the other fellow that was crucified. As no man has ever been to heaven, we must conclude that paradise is where abraham and others wait, with a chasm between paradise and hades. Other than that...its all theories...

You missed I Peter 4:6, "That they (those preached to) might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit." It seems that those in Hell were given chance to repent.

Andrew, you're the one missing the point, Jesus didn't preach a message for repentance to the lost in hell, the Greek word for preach is PROCLAMATION , Jesus went to the other side of Sheol, he powerfully proclaimed his triumph and victory over sin and death and he told them he will be their judge when the appropriate time comes.

@@AndrewSchwankl You know the New Testament was originally written in the Greek language right? Its not adding to the scripture when we look up the real meaning of a word from the original language. I'll say it again, maybe you will get it this time , PREACH IN THIS SCRIPTURE 1 PETER 3:19 MEANS TO PROCLAIM and besides that all those confined in hell can't change or get out, read Revelation 20:12-15

Jesus did not preach to them to get saved, the Greek word for preach is "proclaimed ". It means Jesus proclaimed his victory over death, the grave and hell to all those confined there, it was not an invitation to give their lives to him and get saved. Read Hebrews 9:27 "It's appointed for man to die once and then judgement ". Nobody gets a 2nd chance after you die and are in hell, your fate is sealed and there is no getting out of it !!!

hades means "the grave".. not hell, Jesus did not go to any " hell", the passage in Peter is referring to the "spirit".. that the disobedient people would not harken to when Noah was trying to tell them to be saved from the flood by getting on the ark.

Hades is the same as Sheol in the Old Testament. It's not simply "the grave," but rather "the realm of the dead."

The title question of this video is not aligned with the title question that Derek prince gives at the beginning of the video.. Your video title says "what happened when Jesus died and went to hades?" The title question Derek prince gives in the Audi recording is, "what happened to the soul of Jesus when he died?" He answers this question, however the answer to the question would be different if he answered according to your video title. What happened TO JESUS VS What happened WHEN JESUS Do you see the difference? The answers will be different I suggest you change the video title to match that of the actual question presented in the audio recording.

Yes Jesus commended His spirit, but that doesn't mean His spirit and soul were doing different things. He could have commended His spirit and then went to hades. Splitting seems very unplausable, since we never are.

A question that bugs me. If Jesus took the keys of death and hades at his death, how is it those same keys … or at least the phrase ….. show up in the hands of the fourth horseman of the apocalypse. Does that mean we don’t really understand the horsemen. Seems like we have a piece of info missing. Maybe the horseman released something through death and hades.

This goes without saying. Jesus is God in the flesh not subject to Judgement. So the body is three days under earth but the spirit is free to have a three day break in Heaven before returning to the day shift.

Jesus had carried the sins of the world on his back and had to suffer the punishment for those sins. That is more than mere bodily death. It makes sense that Jesus descended into Hades, as punishment for those sins, but then broke free by the power of God.

Jesus died for our sins on the cross. He did NOT get punished in hell for the same sins that He already died for. That would make the cross of no effect. Our salvation is because of the Cross and the blood that He shed there. Christ Jesus went to hell as the Victor. He took the keys of hell and death from satan. It is important that in these last days, that we CHECK our foundation of the Gospel. Many are being deceived by preachers who have been deceived themselves. Jesus Christ is GOD come in the flesh. We are not gods, not little gods. We are the sheep of His pasture. The Father is our Father. The Holy Spirit was given to us, for leading and guiding us and will teach us all that we need. DON'T TRUST IN MEN. TRUST IN CHRIST JESUS.

@@sorenpx Theres NONE scripture that jesus AKA God in the flesh went to Hades to pay anything. Jesus died on the cross to remove the LAW as a means of righteousness with God: coll 2:14, Eph 2:15, Gal 2:21, Rom 6:14, Rom 10.4, 2 corinth 3:6-9, Rom 8:1-2, 1 Tim 1:9, 1 corinth 15:56.

Thank you for these videos. One pet peeve, though. When did it become fashionable to show Jesus with long hair? It's practically a given. But Paul CLEARLY states in 1 Corinthians 11:14 that long hair on a man is a disgrace. Now, maybe it isn't a disgrace in God's eyes, but if Jesus HAD long hair, it would, no doubt, have been remarked upon.

Jesus was a Jewish carpenter. He likely had medium length hair and a long beard split into two like all Jewish men did at that time
