thanks for the video I love your Channel I don't mean to be critical but if you're taking votes I really don't like the music videos I like it when people are speaking on the videos that way I can be busy doing something else and I don't have to watch the video every second just my opinion like I said love your Channel thanks for all you do
A lot of options here. Using iron on vinyl on the inside layer will make your pouch water resistant. Use at the beach or as as wet bag for reusable diapers.
Cute pouch but find these tutorials much better if narrated rather than having to try to read the captions that usually don't stay up long enough to read and take notes
My guess, it that the By Annie zippers have the bigger hole in the pull for that fabric pull. Also, it allows for the fabric to lie flat which is great for those beginning on their sewing journey. You should be able to use any size bigger than 10 inches where enough of the zipper tape hangs over -- or make fabric tabs which is now getting into a more complex pouch.
@@mariamcphail Just had the opportunity to look at the website. 24" is the shortest zipper they sell, so that explains why that is the recommendation. If you get the double pull kind, you can use the "extra" pull on the part you cut off to make another pouch or for another project.
The good thing is the music can be muted. I prefer the captions. It is so annoying if the sound isn't quite right, mostly on my end, and you can't make out what the narrator is saying. If I need to take notes pause is handy too.
The Gourmet Quilter has an older tutorial almost like this but with batting between. Even different shapes. I met her at Quilt Market in Houston several years ago. It was special meeting someone from another country and getting to thank her in person for the many tutorials.
Cute pattern. I wish there had been audio instruction, only because I learn that way. I like to know the why of instructions, as well as the how. Thanks for the pattern.
Cute project, quick and easy. It mentions to use fusible interfacing, but what is shown is more of a fusible web ( Heat n’ Bond is a brand name). Fuss interfacing has the adhesive on one side only, Heat n’ Bond the adhesive is on both sides. Great project for using up those extra layer cake pieces.
I don't see why a basting spray couldn't be used (might even be able to skip basting if you are more experienced). As for the zipper, the shorter one will not let the fabric lie flat when being sewn on but could be used. Just watch for the zipper pull so it is not in the way - and best to use the nylon coil ones.
Hello Breanna! We will be releasing a video next week that shows how to use charm pack squares. We also have a tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y9h48nGfZgs.html

Hi, as a beginner to sewing/quilting, what sewing foot do you have on your machine, it looks like it has some sort of guard on it? Is it a useful foot to have? Many thanks.. London uk 🇬🇧
