I've been building this lot (off and on) since before the Horse Ranch pack came out LOL
The story in my head with this family/lot is that the VeraCruz family has owned this property for many decades. Originally, it was a small cottage on a pond, with a few crops. Over generations, it has expanded into what is now this thriving horse farm ran by the great-grandson of the original owners. The son of the original owners (and father of the current owner) lives in a small apartment over the garage. I guess I thought that once his wife passed and their son's family had grown fairly large, he maybe let them all take residency in the main house and he has his privacy in the little apartment to enjoy his retirement.

Please note that this is a very large lot, and as with most 64x64 lots, it is a large file size (2MB). This means it will lag a bit as it loads in the game, especially when you first download it). If you have a slow computer, this may not be the lot for you.
