Hey recently I found a similar video on the same topic and learnt that the Companies are hawala companies in Ireland because of tax policies and it is not easy and takes a lot of time to find employment in Ireland itself.

Hey, glad you liked it! At the moment, there are 4 kinds of work visas: Critical Skills Employment Permit: For highly skilled workers in occupations where there is a demand for skills in the Irish labor market. General Employment Permit: This permit is for occupations with an annual salary below a certain threshold and not covered by the Critical Skills Employment Permit. Intra-Company Transfer Permit: For employees of multinational companies who are being transferred to the company's Irish branch. Dependant/Partner/Spouse Employment Permit: Allows the spouses, partners, and dependents of Critical Skills and General Employment Permit holders to work in Ireland. Hii Rhea!! Thank you so much for making such an informative video on Ireland. I have completed my bachelors in India and want to pursue Masters in USA or Ireland. My end goal is not to find a permanent residency or a long term settlement in the country which I'll be moving to for my masters, but want to come back to India as quickly as possible (probably right after clearing all the loans). As we know that in this scenario, people generally opt for USA but can you tell me if it is possible in Ireland as well. How easy/difficult it is to move back to your original place right after completing your education in Ireland?

Hey Shivam, i believe its fairly easy to return to India from Ireland if you like. Its a good place for experience, and cheaper than US! Masters is usually just a year here, so should be easy to return! 😊

Hello! You can try and apply directly for jobs if you eventually want to work and see the response. As for Masters, its never too late if you want to study. However make sure to get alumni feedback on your Course of interest to check if its worth the cost/risk of moving at this stage of life!

Hey, please I have a question. I just did my biometrics yesterday, but I have a 3 months gap, that's 3 months without doing anything, do you think it will affect my chances for visa approval. It's a study visa by the way, I'm going for masters, and I've paid full tuition fees and my sponsor showed 13k euros as proof of funds and an annual salary of 50k euros. Hey Snehal, thanks for your question! I applied in March for September intake in 2019, and i was quite late but managed to get the last seat thanks to a consultation service. I would recommend checking deadlines and also finding education consultants who can give you more visibility. they usually know how many seats are available for each course.

Hey, so I am not fully aware of Athlone as I have only lived in Dublin. But what I do know is that the rent is a lot cheaper than Dublin so its a great way for students to save money. However, it has fewer things to do than Dublin as its a smaller city. It can get a bit dull and lonely during winters also if you don't have much to do. I do know that they have connectivity to Dublin by bus as well. Hope this helps a little bit?

Hey! So this year, people with experience in data science also had difficulties in landing a job. Since you are switching your field, and dont have an experience, you will find it harder to find a job as you will be competing with experienced people. Hope this answers your question?

Hey, amazing! I would highly recommend checking linkedin for both jobs and people working in AI at the moment. Its still in its early stage, and sometimes consultancy services try to push a course just to fill numbers as a part of university partnership they have. Cybersecurity is a more established and if you have prior experience, then it would be easier to land the job. Also AI jobs are limited and it would be easier for people with experience in the field to get those roles. I feel the scope for cybersecurity may be better at the moment but that may change as AI grows! Hope this helps 😀

Hi! The academics at UCD where I went were great! Good faculty with good experience, and some good companies also come and take few lessons! Cant speak for other Universities though

Hey, you can find accommodation here: amberstudent.com/places/leads?. For part time jobs, they don't open in advance or advertised on portals. You have to go and physically look for them! Hope this helps :)

As for job, its easier for people with prior work experience. 1 year course is actually better cost wise, and you can apply for a job sooner and recover your investment. As for the culture, it wasn’t diffult as Ireland is quite multi cultural and has many Indians so easy to find people from your community!

Hey Abhay, glad you found the video informative! The market was down for the most part of last year. It has begun to open up, and we have more opening so would recommend applying now. Try to reach out to recruitment agencies to see if they have something for you. Visa is always a difficult conversation which makes the process longer for non Europeans!

Hey the basics would be IELTS, marksheets of school or college, Statement of Purpose, CV and references of an employer, or professor. The main tip would be to apply early to secure your seat, and have all documents ready. SOP should talk about your passion, and interest in the subject!

Hey Rahul, I don't think it will matter much where you did your masters from, as your field is always in high demand and your experience would count quite a lot since you have a solid 7 years of work experience. I think university/college really matters for freshers who have never worked. You will have an advantage for sure, and should be able to land a mid to senior level role easily, in my opinion. Hey, it depends on the course. The basics would be IELTS, marksheets and cut off for your course, you should be able to show enough funds for your visa. You may have a test for your course that you will need to clear.
