"A teenage motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries following a #crash in Camborne last night (#sunday #september 11). #emergency services including #police #paramedics and #firefighter were called to Kerrier Way near the Tesco filling station at 8:25pm following reports of a #collision involving a #honda motorcycle and red #ford Fiesta.
The road was closed for over 10 hours whilst the incident was ongoing. It has since reopened.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed a 19-year-old from Camborne suffered serious injuries. He remains in Derriford #hospital in a critical condition.
Police are appealing for #witnesses and any anyone with #dashcam footage in the area to contact officers in order to assist with enquires. A statement from the force added: "Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended alongside fire and ambulance crews.
"The road was closed for more than 10 hours while the scene was examined by a specialist forensic collision investigator and the vehicles were recovered.
"Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and asking motorists with relevant dashcam footage to contact them. Please telephone 101, quoting log number 941 of 11/09/22"
