I'm pretty sure if this space station thingy was in LEO, it would probably raise a lot of questions from the US. Especially assuming that it's the size of a full lab, and also the US know about every single thing that is launched, I promise you, you would have ASAT missiles up there so fast.

@@CurvedGD Yes, but what is your point? I'd still fall off the wall (assumed to be vertical) and then unceremoniously plop down. (i.e. towards the greatest centre of mass.) Assuming they have artificial gravity, or I'm on a planet. Otherwise I'd just float until I bump into something.

As a person of science going into Bio-Tech I wouldn't be scared in the slightest once I understand the situation. In fact I'd be very curious about the tech and probably accidentally drive the alien crazy with questions about how the tech works and how I could replicate it.

Velcro is made at varying strengths, and is even sometimes industrial grade. With strong enough velcro on a wall surface, you really could just stick someone to it and they’d have trouble getting themselves down.
