In this video, I make a visit to the Grand Canyon to debunk an article posted by the platform Unilad. They claim that an alien entrance was found on Google Earth at the Grand Canyon. I live close to the Grand Canyon so I thought I would go see what I could find!

👍How to be a respectful visitor to these places👍
Native American groups still live in this area and beyond today. These places are still special and hold significance.
1️⃣Don't climb on walls or structures. Don't lean on or climb over them. Many places don't even need to be visited up close. View these places from a distance or with binoculars.
2️⃣Do not touch the rock art. Don't touch or create new rock art to preserve ancient stories.
3️⃣ Leave All Artifacts. Leave artifacts and structures undisturbed to maintain their historical significance. It is illegal and wrong to take artifacts. If you want something to take home, support local tribes by buying their handicrafts and jewelry.
4️⃣ Manage Waste Responsibly. Use waste bags; don't leave human or pet waste behind. Don't 'go' near cultural sites.
5️⃣ Camp With Care. Don't camp near historical sites. No fires near these areas, and ensure all waste is packed out. Don't make fires in caves or alcoves. Camp in designated spots only. When you leave, make sure to make the site cleaner and better than when you found it. Pick up extra trash you may see.
6️⃣ Control Your Pets. Don't let pets roam freely near archaeological areas to prevent destruction. Pets are not allowed in or near sites.
7️⃣ Preserve Fragile Areas. Don't disturb fossils and please protect delicate soil and plant life.
8️⃣ Follow Rules. Don't engage in illegal actions such as building cairns, or using climbing gear to access archaeological sites.
9️⃣ Obey Drone Rules and Laws. Numerous locations in the American Southwest and beyond, such as the Navajo Reservation, Wilderness Study Areas, and various restricted spaces, enforce strict drone usage prohibitions. It is crucial to not only honor the legacy of the people who once inhabited these areas but also show respect for the present-day residents and adhere to their local laws, customs and regulations.

In 1976, I carried my infant son on my back down Bright Angel Trail, and up the other side. I wasn't too long out of the Army, and in good shape. I thought. The going down wasnt bad, but climbing back out of that crack with my son and another 30 pounds of kit on my back was a hell of a climb.😮

Did the same alone. 5 am and back up top around 4:00 pm. My thighs and butt were screaming the next day. I was hoping to Mt Bike in Sedona. Couldn't lift my leg to get on. I had to stop away from the gas pumps to stretch out on my way Back to Sac, CA so i could walk. My Dad had driven us out from NJ when I was 6 for a summer trip out west. He took us to a location and told us to spit over the edge because it was a mile down to the bottom. I swear I found the same spot 30 years later and spit again. I called my Dad from Kingman to the UP of MIchigan on my way back and told him about it. He laughed and asked how I had remembered that because he did. I said "how often did you tell us to spit anywhere? ". That was monumentus.

Gazing into the Grand Canyon reminds me of what it's like to gaze into the pits of hell. The view is so inviting and tantalizing. It just begs you to enter. Yes, go ahead, continue denying the truth that all humans are little evil Putins in no need of a Savior and the blood of Jesus. Just look at how luxurious and beautiful sin and hell are.

If you read his story the boat with everything in it capsized in the rapids & they lost a man, regardless of what he found or didn’t after his man died the trip was over as recovering his body became the main goal, Kinkaid was a good man & early explorer who mapped out the Grand Canyon FIRST, he doesn’t deserve disrespect, he also was missing a arm, the guys impressive

Even though you weren't able to get close, the angle you were able to get for your photos is more informative than what a satellite camera would pick up. It is interesting how the boulders have such perfect angles, but looking at the cliffs all around, it seems like it might be more common in that location than one might think. Gorgeous scenery! I believe the reason many speculate that the Grand Canyon has Egyptian ruins, is because a early 1900s woman geologist and archeologist gave the rock formations Egyptian names, like the Tower of Ra, etc. So eventually tourists and others thought the names were from Egyptians living in the canyon before the biblical flood. I spent twenty winters November to March between 1983-2003 backpacking the entire Grand Canyon. Never saw any ruins except for that of the indigenous peoples who made the canyon home for 1000s of years. And I've backpacked 15,000 miles in its depths and rims.

just like Bigfoot and all the other urban myths. I've surveyed tens of thousands of acres, maybe hundreds of thousands, in mountainous timberland at the heart of bigfoot country. Thousands of wildlife cameras and trail cams and security cams. Foresters and -ologists and Instagrammers and hunters and hikers everywhere. No sign of bigfoot. No bones, no nothing. Found skulls of all sorts of animals in the woods, from mink to elk, bear, bobcat, coyote, mountain lion. No bigfoot.

I am an old man but I remember reading (don’t ask for references, long lost from memory) about many native tribes believe their ancestors came from the earth and a cave in that region of the Grand Canyon was were they came out of the earth from. They went on to build Chaco canyon and expanded eventually building the pyramids of central America, etc.,etc. very interesting adventure.

The 'egyption' looking ruins in the grand canyon cited in the 1904 article are in an exclusion zone you are not allowed to visit, and given how steep the canyon walls there are, would probably be pretty dangerous even if it wasnt. The region was given "egyption sounding" names, and likely contained a lot of pueblo style ruins. There was carved stone disks removed from the cave listed in the article; others have turned up in other places and sometimes get passing mentions in 'oopa' articles. So it was probably a real cave, which had probably been used to store items in ancient times when the canyon water level was higher, just there was a bit of hyperbole over how significant the artifacts are. Part of the reason the smithonian has little to no records of the place (aside from a lot of very poor housekeeping and fires over the years) is likely when they sent a team over, it did just turn out to be more ancient pueblo or precursor ruins - which even by 1904 would be considered pretty old hat and unexciting by then - since everyone 'looking' for the 'records' would be searching for 'egyption' /ruin/mummy references of course they found none. In any case, the article inspired people to use egyption inspired names for the geological features in the area, but it also meant people are restricted from exploring the area to preserve the ruins... then everyone forgot why the exclusion zone was put there in the first place, making it all seem more mysterious than it actually is.

In the 1800s newspapers were pretty reckless and exaggerated or even made up stories to boost circulation on slow days. Especially when was inaccessible or hard to verify. A closer investigation with a quadcopter would be more definitive. But the absence of any waste rock piles below the apparent opening and the sturdiness of the bedrock implies its not likely an opening to a tunnel or mine of any kind.

This whole thing was completely debunked decades ago. The Smithsonian scientist mentioned in the article never worked for them (he didn't exist). There's more as well. If you think today's "news" is filled with garbage, you need to study what it was like back then. Newspapers commonly printed made up stories to get folks excited and buy more papers. Plus, in a smaller town like the one the article came from, they had to find ways to fill up the page. One must also consider the influence of the LDS church and some of their more exuberant members. Lots of "amazing" discoveries have happened in the region to try to prove parts of the Book of Mormon. (Note: I was raised LDS, so not a hit on the church proper, just an observation based on other "discoveries"). And Arizona has had a large LDS population for a very long time. Hikers, climbers and such are restricted from going into a lot of areas for their own good, and to protect the local environment - including ruins. It is REALLY easy to die in the canyon, and folks die there every year. Thus, you have to manage/mitigate the risks somehow.

I've been to the South Side of the Grand Canyon several times over my life. Been to all the tourist areas and one thing I can say to people that have never been there is it's one thing to see these pictures and videos but it is a whole lot more Grand to see it in person. It's absolutely amazing. I have never been to the north rim. Unfortunately I was in that area in November 2012 and they had just closed it for the season.

It wasn't a scientific quest, he simply proved that there was nothing apparently there. There was no visible, noticeable trace of anything other than the geological rock. There are lots of other sites with evidence of some kind of activity, petroglyphs, structures, and pottery that we can speculate about.

0:31 this zoom in is spectacular. See, to me this looks like several layers of masonry, that is so old it’s washing away all remnants. That doesn’t look natural. It looks like something grand, that went through a massive cataclysm. With soooo many ancient sites having vitrification evidence, maybe an ancient nnnnuuuuuuccccllleeeaaarr wwwaarrrrr occurred in our distant past, and all historical evidence was erased and all technology erased. Basically we were reset back to the dark ages. Am I alone in thinking this? There’s a lot of proof it’s more logical than what we’re told by mainstream. Thanks for the video brother

10:03 if you look at the wall closely, you can see shapes on the front. Without zooming in more with better resolution, there’s no way of telling if that’s natural, or in fact something carved into the rock.

I agree that videography of trails should be documented and provided for those who cannot get to or use the trails. Off trail use, however, in areas where people may not be allowed to go, should not. Sometimes it's because they're protecting wildlife, plants, or geological formations. Taking video and making it publicly available could jeopardize those protected areas by showing people they exist or how to get there. I wish we could trust everyone to not take advantage of or ruin our precious public lands, alas that's not the case. ❤ But definitely, tech should be used to help those explore these areas who otherwise couldn't!

There IS a cave in the Grand Canyon that has Egyptian artifacts, this just isn't the place. It's a cave on a canyon wall that is very steep and the earth is reddish looking. No one can get anywhere near it because it is purposely blocked from exploration.

I love this. I'm hooked on the whole GE Kinkaid story, especially now that I call Arizona home. The whole story seems to be an ancient "click bait" article, before click bait was cool :) But that doesn't make it any less fascinating, you can let your imagination run wild as you hike to this spot. "What if?" I never get tired of the Canyon, once it cools down a bit, I'm grabbing the kid and a camera and we'll set off on our "expedition" to search for Kinkaid's Egyptian cave. Another great video mate.

There's a lot to the story. Jeff is on the wrong side of where Kincaid was. G. E. Kincaid and S. A. Jordan was on the expedition. Jordan was supposed to work for the Smithsonian. They say there is no record of him. So may S. A. is not his real name. David Starr Jordan worked for the Smithsonian. He was the founding president of Stanford University and really into fish. He was born David Jordan and he added Starr as a middle name after attending an all girls high school. Someone important to his mother named Thomas Starr King is why he added Starr to his name. His mentor Luis Agassiz and he have a mountain and lake named after them in Utah. Lake Jordan and Mt Agassi are right next to each other up northwest of skinwalker ranch. So the S is for Star, and A is for Agassiz. Kincaid is a street in Mount vernon, WA. Goes from 1st and Cleveland up to 18th. I can not find out who the st. is actually named after. However, at 1st and Kincaid is the historic Lincoln theatre, which the architecture looks like Solomons temple. In a roundabout way. If they did find anything in the Grand Canyon, it's not there anymore. Family of mine knew both men. Warner Eliphelet rollins. In 1917, the Santa Fe railroad put him up in El Tover Hotel so he could paint the Grand Canyon. It was El Tover crystal canyon where the cave was found. Warner died in 62 in Winslow, AZ before I was born. Eliphelet was king David's youngest with bathsheba. 1 chronicles 3:8. There's always more to the story than what is published. Like the logo for the Santa Fe railroad is an ode to the order of trinitarians and captives and Santa Fe means St Francis of assisi who helped them get their rule in 1198 ce from pope innocent 3rd. Did the Vatican get involved with the Smithsonian over what Kincaid and Jordan found and that's why it's known as a hoax? Peace through Ahev

I don't care if it's real or a hoax or a blend of both, it's a great story and a great excuse for myself and my soon to be 9 year to go out on father son adventures to "uncover the truth" or have fun trying. @skibum6220 that's funny because you obviously have never read anything about it. Was it Tibetan style or Egyptian? Are you even aware that it was once thought the ancient Egyptians came from India? That was in 1909. The fact is that Egyptian was just an assumption. What was found, if anything, was never actually identified. It may have been a cave belonging to the Hopi. We'll never really know because of hatred 😕. At the time, that was native American hatred 😕 more than anything.

The story about the two Egyptian prince's going to Australia is often dismissed because people seem to think it's like they booked a flight from Luxor to Alice Springs. My theory is that since they had something like 50 siblings and were no where near the top of the heap they asked pops for a caravan and a few chests of gold to spread the wisdom of their god-king father then just kept asking the locals, "What's over the next hill/river/sea?" The possibility of an ancient ship from the Mediterranean ending up in the Americas with at least one survivor is not zero.

Interesting stuff! Perhaps get one of those gigapixel cameras and return to this location with a tripod for stabilization, get a series of pics of the same spot throughout the day so that the sun angle changes between pics? Would add a fascinating twist to many treks! 🙂

Geologist here - looks like an erosional block from the very top cliff (time 9:52). Those layers look like sedimentary deposits. The boulder on the ground (the door) looks like a chunk of rock layers on its side. Very cool though! Love that you use Google Earth to explore (I did in my younger years, but in a geologic basis).

Most areas of the Canyon require a back country permit. The only place I know that is restricted are areas around old uranium mines, due to contamination, of which there are several.

I think you can clearly see the piece that was missing from the slot in the boulder just below it laying on its side. I'm going to speculate that when the "capstone" boulder crashed down on the larger one it dislodged a "slab"out of the middle. At the 10:05 mark. It looks like it rolled about a half of a revolution and flopped on its side. Great show! I know the area quite well. We used to be able to see the highway going up to the North Rim from our back yard.

I am a 70 year old geologist and have been to the Grand Canyon several times. It looks like a chunk of rock that fell downslope and split along a planer bedding seam or joint that is now oriented in a vertical direction. Random oriented rock direction among more probable slope-parallel planer orientations but fun to explore.

Matty you might want to check out anomalous America. He reads old newspapers, one from Colorado. The governor had written back to Washington DC, pleading with them to stop the Smithsonian from stealing their mummies and artifacts. Seems like there was a lot more out here than we think there was. The military took control of the area where Egyptian artifacts were found. Nobody can get to that area because military blocked access. It was a nice trek for you and the views were beautiful! There are a lot of unknowns in the Grand Canyon; Namely the large cave that was barred up by the government where an archeologist in the early 1900’s supposedly found ancient artifacts from several races……. Seriously doubt that it’s an entrance down to an underground base more that likely an ancient cave system that may have been inhabited by the prehistoric natives or where a rock broke away and split

I almost didn't watch this video based on the title alone. I initially thought "Oh no, Trek Planner has gone to the dark side to boost his ratings"! There are just so many fantastical stories about the Canyon involving space aliens, Egyptians, flying saucers, etc ad infinitum. Non of which are true or documented. I live an hour away from the Grand Canyon in a town full of river runners, Park rangers, and hikers and authors who have spent lifetimes exploring every nook and cranny of the Grand Canyon. I was fortunate enough to accompany a scientific expedition which was part of a 10 year study financed by the Bureau of Reclamation which studied every aspect of the canyon including the flora, fauna, archaeology, water, climate, etc. I remember sitting around the campfire one night as they talked about some of these preposterous claims and conspiracies which appeal to the gullible and which have no basis in reality. A good time was had by all. I find it very interesting that these myths and legends have absolutely no basis in fact and are still alive and well. One would think that the native folks who lived in the Grand Canyon since Paleolithic times and know it well and who have have many stories about it, and continue to visit the sites where they formerly lived never mention aliens, Egyptians, 0r any kind of phenomena that might be interpreted as Egyptians or space people. But there seems to be another gullible person born every second, to paraphrase Barnum.

You could not see what was in-between the split rock. There could easily be a tunnel dugout between the rocks. I agree it looks natural but historically speaking its not uncommon for humans to incorporate natural features into their homes, sacred sites, and places where important stuff was stored. So sadly this only put to rest that the rocks are likely natural in every way. But did not put to rest that it is an entrance to something. Also the article mentioned is not the only reason, there was a new discovery made in the grand canyon during covid. Hikers found a large cathedral like room carved and bricked lined and a tunnel going into the side of a small offshoot of the canyon. So more stuff has happened down there than we know. Love the vids of your finds and adventures but this one left me disappointed in the end.

the split rocks are spring loaded, prepared for egyptian relic seekers, and yes there is a lot of stuff between them. Most of it has dried out or been eaten by coyotes and cougers.

Brilliant Views of the Grand Canyon - it is very Deep and has a Micro Climate at the Bottom - way Different from that at the Top Rim ! Makes me Laugh - Egyptians or Aliens having an Entrance Doorway in the Grand Canyon - wow - ha ! Its a Natural Rock split open and the Light Conditions from Google Earth Photo looks like a "Doorway" ****IT ONLY LOOKS LIKE IT**** !
