Ironicly this deck is better on the draw. The opponent having one less card in their hand and you having one more makes it hit harder than it should.

@@michaeltellier9044 1. Anecdotal evidence is not evidence, 2. When it requires months of time dedication to build a single competitive deck, that doesn't leave time for fun or interesting decks on the side. I absolutely believe you can build a competitive deck and grind to mythic, but that isn't the question. The question is, is it fun to play the same one or two decks for years because the economy won't allow you to build more than that without investing a sizable amount of money. The average player, especially f2p, has to be extremely selective when building a deck, and furthermore must do so with the knowledge that likely in less than 12-18 months will have to start all over again from ground zero. If someone wants to have fun and build and experiment with multiple decks, they need to dedicate a lot of money to it. This also means that you can't even meaningfully try out archetypes. If you're building a midrange deck, you better be damn sure you like playing midrange because you're stuck with it. That is not a healthy state for a game like this to be in

@@michaeltellier9044 for example when I started I was able to hit gold my first month playing, plat my second month. The problem wasn't grinding rank, the problem was I was stuck playing that singular deck because I simply didn't have the resources to build more. I've been playing for years at this point, I've hit mythic a few times but usually hover in diamond. My issue is even with all that time invested I can never have more than a very small handful of competitive decks and even then they aren't optimal. If I, for example, wanted to try this deck, I'd have to grind for 2-3 months to get the gold to play drafts to get enough cards and packs to MAYBE craft this without wildcards. Moreso if I needed a significant number of them.
