Do you have to have/use a UV/LED lamp when using Gel polish? I just buy wtvr but some polishes have weird consistency, like lacquer - that dries weird. But also some that just say nail polish also have a weird texture. I have no lamps to dry/cure/set nails

Yes you need a uv led lamp to cure gel polish.

@@MsS-J I have polish that says "gel" or "gel polish" and I've never owned or used a lamp but the stuff I have does dry on it's own. I guess I don't really have gel??🤦🏻‍♀️ I want to try it & will buy the lamp but I guess I can't find actual gel 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

@@BarbieBabeEvethis is what i do, if u have a nail polish that you like, just add top coat to the nail polish (not in the bottle) use a hard surface to put the “non gel” nail polish (and a surface you can clean after wards), then add top coat to the nail polish and mix, then you can use an led light to cure it! they have mini flashlight ones on shein that work pretty good for cheap. also at walmart they have nail gel polish that cures under led lights within 30 seconds,without adding anything and i love them! really recommend
